I have 2 nagakibas , 1 with a war cry on my offhand and one with mist raptor on my main , paired with the claw talisman I can stay from of heavy big weapons and get free jump attacks
So many mixed reviews. People say sword dance is better for Nagakiba, or just in general at least, but you're saying Double Slash is better? When you apply ashes of war to your weapon with the same enhancement (keen for example), does it show you how much damage you do when you check stats, or does it remain the same? Also, does Double Slash give you more poise, or at least poise break?
@@200ike It'll show you how much damage you do but that's based on your affinity, not the ash itself. Bloodhound's Step with keen affinity will show the same damage as the same weapon with Double Slash keen affinity. I'm not sure which has better hyperarmor. If I had to guess it'd be Sword Dance because it's a pretty swift move while Double Slash allows for more inputs so there's more opportunity to be interrupted

Tbh double slash is the wave i use three on my build. One for blood hound step one for unsheathe and the last for the combo follow up double slash. Sick asf and very samurai
I can unlock any Ash of War to have any dmg type ? Like use Quality Ashes of war, butt put on the weapon Dex scaling or Cold scaling. Like in this video, you use a Dex Ash butt the weapon has cold dmg.
It's somewhere around the bottom of a cliff behind the Minor Erdtree in SW Liurnia. Just keep scaling the wall and you'll eventually find it under a tall rock.
Run a level 40 toon with +18 weapons. PvP is level bracketed based. I believe its +/- 25 levels. A level 40 with +18 weapons will literally 3 shot players with the nagakiba
@@badburial1097 They shouldn't, but they can! Run a main toon through the whole game then have a friend help you transfer all the endgame talismans to you and weapons. I got a lvl 40 with +18 dual nagabiba's a level 35 with +18 dual Greatswords(Berserk sword) And a level 25 with dual +18 Pikes All for pvp purposes, not including end game talismans such as dragoncrest great shield
@@fatwheat1 I wasn’t asking any questions regarding what you’re providing basically just giving me your own opinion but doesn’t make sense at all because at that low of level with a high weapon reinforcement actually puts you at a disadvantage staying at a low level watch some streams and get some new information that’s my two cents ... or look up the matchmaking calculator because you have it all wrong imo but if you’re having fun do it yooo lmaooo
Good fight but I won't lie man, I'm tired of bloodhound step. It's like one of the most clutch ash of war during boss fights, especially Malikieth but during pvp I hate it's Guts

Using it on the Pike is even crazier. The amount of reach that weapon has makes it cover a whole lot of area with the AoW.
I feel like sword saint Isshin when using that with a pike lol
sword dance is unbelievably strong with any long reach weapons
I use dual nagakiba, bloodhounds step and sword dance too! But I also use incantation seal and reduvula for a ranged finisher
