The flashback you want for the wind hashira was all the way in the last season when we met Genya and heard his story how the wind hashira killed their mother who turned into a demon, after she killed all their siblings and Genya called him a monster for doing so

This is not confirmed, the whole walk for Muzan is anime adapted, which meant that Muzan in the Manga just showed up infront of Kagaya.
Unless stated by Ufotable, this is not confirmed and just what the fans wanted to imagine, if anything the whole smoke is just for the scene to make it more cooler and badass

But I think it's obvious that if "IF" the smoke was about wisteria then the writer of the manga wouldn't have miss the chance to show the regenerative power of muzan, but instead he din't even add anything in manga.. And also if it was ufotable's decision to add the smoke which is, " So Called Wisteria " then they atleast would have shown a single frame of some burner and stuff, even if not in this scene but any point in this season or even series they did not mention wisteria in masters mension, as they did in gyomei backstory...
