That walk was the best part of episode 7 of this arc. Also that scene with Giyu and Sanemi was the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's just so amazing that we got to see them interact with each other, and even more amazing to see the main characters reunited.

Sayo probably meant the demon but the people misunderstood it since the demon already disintegrated leaving only the dead bodies of the kids. We cant really expect a traumatized 4 yrs old kid to explain everything coherently.
