“He took something from me momma” The way Meloni delivered that line was just perfection. You could see all the rage, anger, & sadness he’s felt since Kathy died.
The intensity of Stabler's pain is so evident in this scene. Here is a man working through his grief and loss. Sometimes you feel as if you have to begin all over again, go through the roller coaster of emotions and it might be weeks... months...before you can even begin to feel any semblance of yourself. It's a process and Stabler is showing that he is only human and I appreciate that. Healing just takes time.
I'm so very glad they brought Bernadette back.. love this show. Bernie tell Stabler that he's being distant and revenge won't bring his wife Kathy back, just have a feeling that Olivia will probably be dragged back in. This is why I really love watching this show very week, I get so took into it 😊
I just love how they have been developing the relationship between Elliot and Bernie. I hope they keep her around for a little while. He needs his mom and she needs him. ❤️💫✨
1:38 - 2:13 That was intense! You can see how much Elliot wanted to pull that trigger. If Wheatley's got a death wish, Elliot will be happy to oblige. Bernadette's right. But she can't blame Elliot for being obsessed about wanting to bring Wheatley down. He wants justice for Kathy, she deserves it.
Wheatley is living in Stabler's head, he's obsessed with his every move. I love how they've kept him always one step ahead of Stabler. 😂 By the time this case is over, Stabler will probably need to spend some time in a room with padded walls. 🥺 He'll keep waking up in the middle of the night screaming, "Wheatley!!!" 😂
The way she said there is no light. Omg. That line was heavy on Elliot and he knew it from his reaction. I believe the only one who will let Elliot see the light is Olivia. If he just lets her in his heart. He's in the dark now. Olivia is the light in his darkness. Like they always say true love conquers all.
Ah, Academy Award winning Ellen Burstyn. She won a much deserved Primetime Emmy for her appearance as Stabler's mother on SVU. Great actress! Also she was robbed of a second Oscar for Requiem For a Dream!
If anything ever happens to Bernadette Stabler I will start a riot (one woman if I have to, right after I finish crying) She is possibly my favorite character on OC
On one hand I want wheatley to be a main stay in the show and become this the main villain of the entire series, he could be the guy that everyone knows is guilty, even the feds, but the can't connect it to him because he's so good. On the other I want Stabler to keep his promise and bury him in a forest somewhere
when your own momma tells you she dont see any light in you! mannn! that alone would of made me take a step back and do what i can to find myself again
This is the storyline that is gonna get Olivia dragged in. Omg. How stabler is going after the woman Wheatley loves Angela, Wheatley is gonna go after the woman Elliot loves who is Olivia. That line Elliot told wheatley here anyone in my family I will kill you.. Looks like that was the way to get Olivia get dragged in the storyline. Cuz what better way to go after Elliot and hurt him than hurting the only woman he ever loved. Olivia Benson. Omg.
I agree but I don't think this is gonna happen. OC writers (Ilene mostly) are notorious for going against the grain, for doing things totally unexpected. Wheatley going after Olivia is the predictable thing. Everyone thinks it'll happen, even I think it. Therefore I don't think it'll happen, and if it does, I really hope they don't have Liv play some damsel in distress. I don't think Mariska would stand for that anyway, and if anything, it would be great to see El and Liv play him down, together.
I love how Elliot's mom is trying to save her son from becoming Richard Wheatly or even worse. She’s speaking the truth about Elliot when she says when she sees her son that she doesn’t see light within him, only darkness and despair. She worries about him a lot
What a scary scene and so well done! Bernie red hiding hood! Ellen and Chris are amazing together, just like Chris and Dylan. Organized Crime is the best show and please work better the continuity between SVU and OC. I mean, the crossover last year was perfect and then this year we have nothing, not even a text, a call between the "friends for now"? Svu needs to have heavy conversations between the characters too, not only about the cases but about how everything impacts personal lives.
I never thought much of law and order until I saw this spinoff. Something tells me Christopher meloni wanted a little more from the character he has developed.
Interesting that Stabler's line is, "He took something from me." SOMETHING, instead of SOMEONE. At this point, it's an ego game, which explains Stabler's fall into darkness.
OMG is this what happens to Stabler ???? I'm still happily watching progs in UK from 20 years ago when he and Benson were young. He got old. But so did we all.....
I wonder what happened to the beach house from the SUV episode when they are on the beach together and the bipolar and Kathleen the daughter ends up in a small stint in jail getting the help she needs
This may be Stablers "Batman" moment, the moment he realises he can't solve the problem the way They do, or the ways They cause. He's got to be better, he's got to be the good man for himself and his family. And THAT'S the hardest way, because the other way is easy.
She's almost 90, and she's still doing great. She was in two of my absolute favorite films: "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and "The Last Picture Show". So nice to see someone in the age bracket still getting roles, and still acting the hell to of every scene she's in.
I know there are a huge number of EO shippers, but this scene is one of the reasons why I'm not. Elliott can get blinded by rage and it puts the people he cares about in danger. Olivia will be fine in the end, but I worry about the kids and his mom who are more dispensable to the writers. Wheatley is a great villain and he isn't going to stop hurting people. I also think (hope) Barba represented Wheatley in exchange for keeping Liv safe. It was so out of character to hurt Liv like that, but he would sacrifice his own friendship with Liv to protect her. Elliott tends to put his own agenda first.
this show is ACTUALLY MUCH BETTER THAN SVU nowadays, and besides Meloni has moved on from the FULL TIME SVU, he'll continue to crossover but his character fits Organized Crime MUCH MORE NOW
@@ryang54712 He has 5 children. I don't remember him ever mentioning siblings. I know he was raised Catholic but you would think even one of his supposed brothers or sisters would have been mentioned in the first 12 years, if not made an appearance.
Kathy was Elliot’s light, and his light got turned off the moment she died. I know EO shippers will come at me saying Olivia’s his “true love” and “parallel universe always you and I”… yet Olivia hasn’t managed to turn on his light, so… I believe hands down Kathy was the one. Another problem I think Elliot is having is that he never got to say goodbye to Kathy. I don’t know for sure if he was at her side when she was rushed to the OR for ruptured spleen, but he more than likely thought Kathy would miraculously survive. Funeral wasn’t good enough.
exactly, I wont deny Eliot had love and care for Liv and considers her a best friend, but the delusion on the EO shippers that she's his only "true love" , no that belonged to kathy first, Elliot ABSOLUTELY AND UNDENIABLY LOVED Kathy and went out of his way to reconcile when they briefly separated, heck Liv helped him get back with Kathy. Eliot was SEVERELY devastated and had PTSD when he lost his wife and grieving, that's Deep love for his wife. I also think it is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL for Fans even being fictional characters to want a happily married couple to separate because they think the other girl needs him. I noticed that in the fans and thats sickening
I gotta say, I never thought I'd see Stabler's mother again on Law and Order. It's truly refreshing to see her again after Stabler himself comes back.
