I actually love diving in the Greece sea especially while finding shells! I also collect shells. It’s fun because you find a lot of interesting stuff while diving.🐚

Good luck! It's been pretty hit and miss here lately. Water is still too cold for me to get in to snorkel, but the next best thing is walking along the water line with a net and catching any shells you see rolling up in the surf.

Who is taking the footage wearing on your scuba diving because one we found I have two seashells that I have in front of me well that’s from the house a bit like squares on it and the second one has the same thing but different type of colors
I haven't read through all of the comments, but are you aware that the cone that you found at 3:32 in the video is a Conus delessertii (Sozon's Cone)? That's not a shallow water species and not a common find. Hold onto that one!
Thank you, I have a very difficult time determining the difference between sozon's cones and Florids cones. I'm not well versed on the species names only the common names. It's always fun finding out I found a special one! 😊

Absolutely, there is an artificial reef on Navarre Beach that is great for snorkeling to view the sealife! Lots of fish and also sea turtles are often spotted there.
I just suggest to stay away from the pier, there are lots of public parking accesses all up the beach road in between the houses and condos. Navarre Beach isn't that big so anywhere you stay would be fine just dont swim under the pier because of fishing/sharks. The shelling isn't always this good, it is hit or miss sometimes 😉
I use a net bag, you can order actual shelling bags online or just use like a small lingerie netted bag like you would use for delicate laundry. I put a shoestring through it so I can tie it around my neck and be hands free :)
Yes there are sharks sighted and caught off of Navarre Beach. But I have never ran into a shark in 6 years of snorkeling. It is just about taking the right precautions, staying away from the pier where they are fishing, not swimming at dawn or dusk when it is feeding time, etc.. 😊

That's actually a baby Atlantic Distorsio, they're not a super common shell here so always a rare treat for this area!

What keeps water out of the snorkle?
It's called a dry top snorkel it has a mechanism in it that closes off when submerged under water.
Is there a certain place in Navarre that is the best? I want to stay right on the beach by a good snorkeling place.

I am in shallow water near the shoreline, so usually anywhere from 1-4 feet in depth.
