Loved this! It's great to see you both back out on the water. That was a really really good tip for cleaning mahi. We haven't seen that one before. Can't wait to try it out! Keep up the awesome content!
Bought one of those worksharps several years ago. Sharpened all my hunting and fishing knives then went to the kitchen. Sharpened my wife's knives. Probably should have warned her. She nicked herself three times in the first week. One of the best tools I bought that year! Makes filet knives cut well. Never had fish tacos but your way seems like an easy one for a first timer. Thanks
Thanks for watching Mike! Yeah, that sharpener will sure put an edge on everything, and will cut you in a hurry. But boy how it makes cutting things so much easier!
Another great video! I am going to get one of these sharpeners, thanks for showing it to us! We have a place in Marathon and spend our winters there. Maybe we will see you our on the water.
I hope to see you out there! You'll love that sharpener...our friends used to bring their knives over when they visited just so I could keep them sharp for them! Now you can see why I'm encouraging everyone to get their own!!
Great fish and cook I just love your vids keep up the good work. I live on the shores of Lake St. Clair in Ontario Canada and I will try that recipe with the walleyes I catch be safe out there.
Thanks Mike! I would think it would be a great seasoning for Walleye. We had a friend bring some Walleye down here and we had a fish fry, that fish was amazing!!! I think I enjoyed the Walleye as much as any fish we get down here.
Me too! I keep plugging it because it just works so well. I'm sure everyone thinks we are sponsored or something, but we're not, just love that sharpener!
Yes sir...that east wind has made it a washing machine out there the last couple of days. There are Mahi from 400 to 600 feet if you can take the beating! They are small, but will fill the fishbox. Have fun!
Yea man shout out to WH! I am personal friends with Joe Rogers Jr the CEO of WH and he is i a big saltwater fisherman too. So he would certainly approve any WH mentions in your vids😎
Mark you might want to try the Badia Seasoning called - Mojito & Sazon Tropical That could be a "Game Changer". FYI- Badia also makes seasoning that is Red Lobster's Signature line of seasonings. Great video Mark & Laurie. Keep having fun.
Ok, that will be next on my list for sure...always appreciate you suggestions!! Thanks so much. The biggest problem I'm having with my seasonings here in the Keys is them clumping up. The house we live in is old and we have window units for A/C. I've tried those moisture absorbers, but I'm losing lots of seasonings to clumping. Any ideas?? I've tried adding rice or dried beans in the bottles, but no luck...
Just subscribed to you guys Ialso have a place in marathon. What kind of lures were yaa using im new to the fishing love mahi. Owe and the dog is super cute....
We were using C & H Lures Stubby Bubblers and Triple D bubblers from the Tacklebox here in Marathon. Go see Chris at the Tacklebox...he'll hook you up with what you need for Mahi! thanks for watching!!
Great video! You guys are living my dream. I too plan to move from northern Georgia to the keys.... One day...... Hopefully!
Thanks for watching! Good luck to you!
Has anyone ever suggested a gimbal belt to you? Game changer for your reeling!
Yes, we had one, just didn't remember to get it out 🙃
Glad the seasoning thing worked out!
That taco though! delicious
Perfect brother, thanks!!

so you guys toss the Mahi in straight ice? That is what I would do personally, but I've seen other youtubers bleed them out in their water tanks.
Yep, Mahi straight in the ice, but we bleed the tuna. Thanks for watching!
Busch latte!!
Absolutely! No frilly beer around here!
