12:32 How can we educate the economically backward parents to send their children to schools ?
25:45 How to prevent our own intelligence turning into our own enemy ?
37:40 How to be both unconventional and popular at the same time ?
48:45 How do children cope up with new cultural changes that are influenced by the media ?
56:10 What is your opinion of people who try to run down the ethos of faith and values ?
What makes you happy and what makes you sad ?
1:12:07 Being a school teacher, how do I manage the conflict between my and my superior's expectations ?
1:20:04 How can we address overall growth of child at school instead of just focusing only on his academics ?

I was lucky enough to spend Easter weekend learning from Sadguru when he came to the UK.
I will be sharing this video with all my teacher friends. These words spoke directly to my heart and gave me so much hope for the future. I am a play therapist and this is very natural to me. The children who are sent to me to be "cured" are allowed to find their own power. They teach me so much. Thank You Thank You Thank You 💚🙏💚💫🌱🌳🌎🌌

Over here in Netherland education system is a disaster! Teachers are staying home or don't bother to focus.
Kids can't find their way and are bullied by youth Services. It's a mess! When teachers plea for changes, government makes a U-turn. They are too proud to let Isha schooling in. The best students happens to be Indians!

    • @Creativehealing444
      @Creativehealing444 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

@@sharmila-g3n It can all seem such a mess. Here in the UK it can also seem pretty hopeless. But now there is a glimmer of hope with people like Sadhguru daring to challenge and explore . I have 7 grandchildren as well as the many children who are referred to me by the authorities and I refuse to be trapped in the system in the way I work. I don't go to the school but make them come to my home and get them playing outside. I allow their poor data rammed brains to run free.....if only for an hour and I hope the seeds of hope manage to take root.
I always rebelled at school and was only ever there physically but not in spirit. However as an adult I did have the luxury of being able to choose to return to University and managed to graduate with a first, but only after I had learnt to play the dumb rules, which was basically seemed to be rewriting other clever people's words and not daring to thinking for myself (heaven forbid!!!).
What a crazy wonderful world we live in aye! 😜

Yes! If you understand you don't need to memorize. And even if you do memorize you will eventually connect the dots in future and understand a loads of stuff. That is how it is. Memorizing is not all that bad. Perhaps SADHGURU has a different intention of saying it but many take his words literally.
His intention of saying that memorizing means non intelligence is in a much broader sense. You will not recognize your parents if your brain does not memorize your parents face, body structure or their voice texture, etc. : )

Don’t be scared bc the world has many great mentors even though sadhguru is one of the best... A good person won’t rest until they find some kind of something to mediate their mind.. and once they become one with themselves or realize the beauty & ability that comes from Balance, it becomes a lot easier for us to learn how to live as lighthouses for others as well and this is one good cycle that can continue and also keep us moving forward at the same time... So never be scared! We can shine a lot brighter than we could ever imagine 🥳 water holds great memory. Even still, blessings cannot remain buried for long.. they always blossom out eventually, through nature itself or through the identity of humans. We usually learn best from one another’s natures before we realize we can also learn from nature’s nature itself lol. All I’m saying is, lots of names have been remembered... lots of stories, legends... If those were not things here for us to learn, then I would be more worried/scared too.. But I remember that if it weren’t for that fact alone there would definitely not be half as much hope for humankind.

I am a firm believer that the education system is not set up to help our kids. This is not only the case in India but in most of the western world as well.
6 months ago in my town of Canberra, Australia, I enrolled my 3 year old son into the Steiner school method that follows a Norwegian style of teaching that focussed on teaching communication and how to work in a team. I feel that is more crucial than learning ABCs or 123s at this age. So that’s my 2 cents worth. 🌏🙏🏼

Sadguru is Gods gift to humanity he unites all religions, all people of all faiths and removes the shackles of assumptions based on sincere faith without an ounce of original thinking on the part of listeners. He is as i understand him saying the end result should be unity, happiness, success for all, and love all and serve all. This entire creation is demonstrating that caring and sharing -and is functioning as one big family not only human beings but from mother earth, the plant, animal, mineral kingdom, together with the other planets. We must flow with that caring and sharing which his life demonstrates with the wide variety of seva he and his organisation are doing. He is a modern saviour who faces the facts boldly, the Dr. who is giving a cure for all human divisions.

I cried so much because I never had a very good memory.....but I was a natural artist and I was not allowed to think I could make a living from artistry.....everything was about getting a job.....a secretary....an assistant of sorts.....I felt obligated to work during high school at local fast food places so I could have something to put in my resume and build experience for these types of jobs......I am glad that I learned such thing....but still....I wish I knew at an early age how to understand many things....that I needed to create a path for my talents.....everything else felt so limited.....I could not dream or feel anything but accumulating such knowledge that limited me....I hope our children can break out of this.....there are so many other ways and things to learn......I love to hear sadhguru.....it makes me feel that there is hope for this.......

I agree. I say the same. Education has to be changed to Gurukulam/Classical type education which involves a lot of thinking, self-determination, experimentation, oration and more. It is better for producing capable people while the Prussian model being used around the world now was created to train an obedient labor force. This is a must to create independent thinking and acting adults for our society.
