The floor is great, looks like genuine parquetry. Glad you arnt replacing it. At the end if the day, save your money. I will never have 2 pack gloss at home or in the van again. Shows up every fingerprint. The white is so refreshing and the green/khaki will look good once the van is finished. Tarpogy is much more accurate. Easy to install. Can bluetooth to phone. We fitted it as an after-market as the BMPro was so inaccurate. Love the Sirocco fans. We have individual fans above the bed. Best decision ever. You will love the front loader washer. So convenient for washing socks, jocks, t-shirts. Dont put the stick on tile look please😢
Absolutely love it, and as for the floor, I love that as well, she is a bit of an old girl so there's no use in trying to make her modern. I love your van better than the other one you had. This ol girl has personality. Love what you've done
Loving the Reno guys. Your very handy. Can’t wait to see the solar, charging, battery system. We have the same fridge and it’s great but does use a fair amount of battery. Keep the videos coming. It looks awesome.
I'm blown away by the effort you are making on this reno. Epic stuff. The green looks very stylish. Congratulations again on the progress. I'd feel heaps less anguish watching you work if you wore clear safety specs when using power tools. Eyes are super precious!
well done guys we did the splash back with the hexagon design from Kmart and what a difference it makes cheers and all the best look forward to the next Vid
We did stick on subway titles in our outdoor kitchen on our hybrid camper. Brought them from online at the time. They look great and we have had no issues with them at all.
Thanks Alex, I thought I better check my anode rod on my 2008 van before we head of, low and behold there wasn't much left of it. Have ordered a new one, so thanks for giving us the heads up to check ours.
Totally enjoyable and informative to watch. I think the floor will hide a lot of sins especially travelling with your pup, plus there are things called mats to change up the look 😂
I know I've said it before but you guys come into your own working on the van - you are doing a great job. The bigger Dometic compressor fridge will be great.
Noooooooo…….you finished too quickly!!! I’m enthralled by this process ❤great DIY video. Loving what you are doing. Can’t wait for the next one 👍🏻 PS you looked like you needed the chiro after you unfolded yrself from the tunnel boot🤣
I love the green colour Erin, great choice! I'm enjoying watching it all come together, it reminds us of when we reno'd an old Chesney caravan during covid lockdown.
Love love love the green!!! Was wanting a deeper green for our caravan bottom cupboards, was told they do not do that color, nobody does green, why would you do green. May just send them your vlog to say, look, green is in!! The amount of money our van is costing I cannot even have the color scheme I want, not happy.
Man, watching you guys work on this caravan brings back memories to when our family renovated our little 13 footer. Buying a new caravan is great and convenient but working on an older caravan basically from the ground up makes it so much more special. The build is looking amazing so far and can’t wait to see her finished. P.S You did a great job with choosing the green colouring Erin, it looks amazing 😉
as for the fridge but the new one is $2700 . re the hitch i believe the set up of breaks is the answer i spend 15 minuits down the road trying and retying the brakes until you can't feel a difference in car or van braking and then there is no trouble dirt of bituminum
You're doing an awesome job!!! 🙂 No use asking my opinion on colours as I thought your white primer and the blue plastic on the floor worked well together. LOL 🤪 Can't wait to see the final product. 😎
Nice to see it coming together, we used stick tiles for our van too, they've held up really good and a lot lighter then normal tiles. Can't wait to see the end result 👍
Awesome work guys, all that hard work is paying off. Love the colour. Is different to anything else out there and works really well with the floor. Cant wait to see all the doors etc go back on.
It’s coming up a treat. I love the green and the Kmart tiles are going to look fantastic. I did have a close my eyes moment when you had to get into the tunnel boot. I’m claustrophobic and I couldn’t breathe 😂. Can’t wait for next weeks episode
Hi thanks for reminding me how good a multitool is went out to the shed and blew the dust off mine! This is such a great video for how it's achievable for a great van on a realistic price! Thanks
Looking good guys We did out 1992 12 foot van up using the Dulux paint and used the Tic tac tiles. They've stood the test of time over the last 2 years A little lifting in places but push back on fine Looking at upgrading to a newer van but thinking of doing a Reno again as can add our touches instead of the modern glossy finish of all the new vans these days. Not to mention $$
I don't know where you have got your skills from to achieve this reno on the C/van, but I'm really, really, really impressed by your achievements. Innovation and adaptation will be the keys to your success. I'm sure you will have some hiccups on your journey regarding the mods that have been done, but you will overcome them.
Thank you 😊 Alex is a chippy and actually used to build caravans many moons ago so he has a pretty good idea of how it all fits together thank goodness!
Guess you have an idea of what being born in like now getting out that boot space 😁 Here n UK we call the flooring pattern herringbone, it's fake parkay and the vinyl is great stuff, especially when laid like yours is, under unit's. It always moves if you try to replace. As for the colour ain't a fan of green anyway however, I think judgement has to be reserved until it's finish and kitted out. Comin on great tho' 👍
Coming along nice guys the van looking great , to buy an older quality built van or ya already got one then to improve it to ya taste has to be heaps cheaper than getting a new van built to ya liking, , if ya happy with the lay out of ya older van then renovate it must be cheaper than spending 150k on a new one i hope
smart move mate. i fitted gas instainious hot water. the curved roof is a pain in a lit of ways. i am to old or i would build a new van on the new square shape.
I think if you love it it’s what’s important and the floor is funky 👌👌
100% 🙌🏼
Funny, our last motorhome was called Bertha after my Nana. We now have a 12m housetruck called Beast 🙂
Wow!
The floor reminds me of a New York apartment, I love it!!
I love the green. You two are doing a tremendous job in renovating.
Thanks!
DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB, THIS IS GOING TO BE FABULOUS.
I LIKE THE GREEN, AND SPLASH BACK, GREY.
BUT I THINK ITS GOING TO CLASH WITH FLOOR.😮
Thank you!
We’ll find out when we put it all together!
Love the colour …. Stick on tiles are a great idea …. But pleeeeaaase trim the top to give it a straight edge… it’s doing my head in 😂😂😂
😂
Thanks!
I *personally* love the green. My wife likes shades of blue. Naturally our cabinetry is blue.
We love it too!
Love the green and the floor 👏
🙌🏼

We are glad we kept the floor, we like how it fits with everything else ☺️ and that we saved the money!
02:20 what a genuine effort!

Thank you!
Ha you've done amazing job and I really like the colour
Thank you!
Absolutely love it, and as for the floor, I love that as well, she is a bit of an old girl so there's no use in trying to make her modern. I love your van better than the other one you had. This ol girl has personality. Love what you've done
She has so much personality and we are absolutely in love how she is finished! Just got to get back out on the road now!
Loving the Reno guys. Your very handy. Can’t wait to see the solar, charging, battery system. We have the same fridge and it’s great but does use a fair amount of battery. Keep the videos coming. It looks awesome.
Thank you! Make sure you check out the video on the battery system if you haven’t seen it yet!
I'm blown away by the effort you are making on this reno. Epic stuff. The green looks very stylish. Congratulations again on the progress. I'd feel heaps less anguish watching you work if you wore clear safety specs when using power tools. Eyes are super precious!
Thanks! Definitely do put the clear specs on when cutting/ grinding!
I saw your first vid today im catching up. All I can say is wow what a wonderful job your lounge looks so comfy.
🙌🏼 cheers!
well done guys we did the splash back with the hexagon design from Kmart and what a difference it makes cheers and all the best look forward to the next Vid
Thanks!
We did stick on subway titles in our outdoor kitchen on our hybrid camper. Brought them from online at the time. They look great and we have had no issues with them at all.
Oh that’s good to know!
I've been hanging for your vid today and it didn't disappoint. Alex in the tunnel boot made me lol, hilarious! Love the colours too.
😂 it was a tight squeeze!
Thank you!!
Thanks Alex, I thought I better check my anode rod on my 2008 van before we head of, low and behold there wasn't much left of it. Have ordered a new one, so thanks for giving us the heads up to check ours.
Glad it helped you!!
I would of gone a bit more light sage green. But I think it looks heaps better than before ❤
Thank you!
Been renovating a 1968 Hillebrand Panther made in Adelaide. The same sealer was used in that van. Messy stuff but probably cutting edge back then.
Horrible stuff to clean off isn’t it?!
Good choice, love it!
Thank you!
I love the green colour. It’s looking great guys.
Thank you!
Nice tunnel boot manoeuvre but,
Not sure about the green...but it's about what you guys like...nice work.
Thanks!
remember the guy has the last say 'YES DEAR"
🤣
Nice work...loved seeing Alex fitting into the under bed storage😂😂😂😂
🤣
Love sundays! Just so I can catch up with your van progress
🙌🏼😁
The colour is actually stunning!! Not something I’d have picked myself but seeing it come together it just looks beautiful
Thank you! 😄
Keep up the great job love these videos so informative
Wife really likes the colours doing a great job and yes I don't mind the colours either
Thank you!
Totally enjoyable and informative to watch. I think the floor will hide a lot of sins especially travelling with your pup, plus there are things called mats to change up the look 😂
Thank you! And yes so true, a few mats and you hardly see the floor!
I know I've said it before but you guys come into your own working on the van - you are doing a great job. The bigger Dometic compressor fridge will be great.
Thanks mate! We are really enjoying it!
Fantastic work. Love the colour scheme. Very classy! Hanging out for the finished reveal.😊
Cheers!!
Mate one of the best videos,👍
Thank you mate!!
This is the vid I most look forward too each week. A great episode.
Thank you!
Is all starting to come together so well done.
Certainly has changed the appearance of the inside and it’s looking 👀 great.
Thank you!!
Alex, you really have to learn to put the silicone on BEFORE you screw things together 🤣🤣🤣
😂
Looking great .. colours are awesome 🎉🎉
Thanks guys!!
Noooooooo…….you finished too quickly!!! I’m enthralled by this process ❤great DIY video. Loving what you are doing. Can’t wait for the next one 👍🏻
PS you looked like you needed the chiro after you unfolded yrself from the tunnel boot🤣
😂😂😂 we have so enjoyed the process of renovating! But can’t wait to show you the final result!
I love the green colour Erin, great choice! I'm enjoying watching it all come together, it reminds us of when we reno'd an old Chesney caravan during covid lockdown.
Thank you!
I do like it and I said before you chose it that I thought you would go for that colour. I must have ESP
You must!
Love love love the green!!! Was wanting a deeper green for our caravan bottom cupboards, was told they do not do that color, nobody does green, why would you do green. May just send them your vlog to say, look, green is in!! The amount of money our van is costing I cannot even have the color scheme I want, not happy.
You should be able to have whatever colour you want!
Thank you so much! I think it makes it a little bit more special when you can stand back and say we did that!
as for the fridge but the new one is $2700 . re the hitch i believe the set up of breaks is the answer i spend 15 minuits down the road trying and retying the brakes until you can't feel a difference in car or van braking and then there is no trouble dirt of bituminum
The bluetak stuff will be butyl tape, most the old vans have it everywhere.
Ah ok, thanks for the info!
Colours look fabulous. So cool that you get to design your space. Loving the build vids, coming along nicely.
Thank you very much!
Wow. Stunning. Well done great colour choices
Thank you very much!
Love your work, it’s great seeing how things can be done on a lower budget and not just buying/given a 120k+ van…. Can’t wait to see final result 👍
Thanks mate!
Keep us up to date about those gas bottles good/bad?? Review 6 or 12 months
Will do
Absolutely love the green, it really pops. You are doing an amazing job, can't wait to see the finished project 😘
Thanks so much! 🙌🏼
We do like the colours.
Hope you utilised the space behind the washing machine
Love your work
Cheers
Johnny&Rene
Thank you! The washing machine ended up taking up most of the space!
Great vid guys 🤙🏿
Cheers!
Those gas bottles interest me. Will have a look and see if they will fit my 4.5 kg brackets.
They are great! We now have a discount code “NOWORNEVER” if you end up purchasing to save some $$
Love the green, van is looking great. No words for the tunnel boot
Thank you!
Love the color can’t wait to see your upholstery 😊
🙌🏼
Looks great, I totally get it about the green, but it looks like it's going to work really well. Love those Kmart tiles for the splashback 😉
Fingers crossed! Thanks!

Taking shape real well, pumped for next video👍
🙌🏼
You're doing an awesome job!!! 🙂 No use asking my opinion on colours as I thought your white primer and the blue plastic on the floor worked well together. LOL 🤪 Can't wait to see the final product. 😎
Haha, might have been on to something with those colours hey?!
Wow what an awesome change 👍🏻👍🏻
🙌🏼
Love it 👍.
I've done very similar colour with a light grey 🩶 & black ceiling.
Oooh sounds nice!
looking superb. I wasn't sure about the green initially, but as the van is coming together. its really growing on me. Awesome work team.
We felt the same at times!
Looking good guys - all coming together 👏👍
Thanks!
Love the green . Well done.
Cheers!
Nice to see it coming together, we used stick tiles for our van too, they've held up really good and a lot lighter then normal tiles. Can't wait to see the end result 👍
Thank you! Good to know your tiles worked well!!
Love your Reno ❤
Thanks!

Oh no that would be a terrible feeling for you!
Thanks for following!
Hi thanks for reminding me how good a multitool is went out to the shed and blew the dust off mine! This is such a great video for how it's achievable for a great van on a realistic price! Thanks
Haha no problems! Thanks!

Yes can definitely make an older van into exactly what you want!
Really enjoying watching your progress on this 👍👍
Good call on not using oil based, it’s a prick to clean up
It sure is!! Thanks mate!
I don't know where you have got your skills from to achieve this reno on the C/van, but I'm really, really, really impressed by your achievements. Thank you 😊 Alex is a chippy and actually used to build caravans many moons ago so he has a pretty good idea of how it all fits together thank goodness!
@@nowornever_aus wait... did Alex used to build caravans? (at kedron)
Yep 👍🏼
Looks awesome! LOVE the green 🌿
Cheers! 🙌🏼
Think white and marine blue would look better
The white definitely lightens up the van will look good at night
Thanks!
The colour looks good.
I have always worried about wall mounted washing machines when traveling off road
Thanks!
We didn’t have any experiences with the last one so fingers crossed none with this one!
The floor is a no brainer
Stick on tiles are upside down as the straight edge is to the top
We thought the same at first but not the case! The way we have them is how it is on the packet and instructions 👍🏼
Guess you have an idea of what being born in like now getting out that boot space 😁
Here n UK we call the flooring pattern herringbone, it's fake parkay and the vinyl is great stuff, especially when laid like yours is, under unit's. It always moves if you try to replace.

Haha yep I have been re-born!! 😂
Thanks so much!
the green and white with the timber floor is ok.
i'd paint inside the cupboards white, i find it hard to find stuff in dark cupboards.
Thank you!
That’s a very good point!
Did anyone else notice the caravan giving birth to that man. 😂
😂😂😂
Once had a van with timber frame never again
Coming along nice guys the van looking great , to buy an older quality built van or ya already got one then to improve it to ya taste has to be heaps cheaper than getting a new van built to ya liking, , if ya happy with the lay out of ya older van then renovate it must be cheaper than spending 150k on a new one i hope
Definitely! Thanks!
😂😅😂 I've got the same tile as well.
Stop copying me 😂😂😂.
😂
smart move mate. i fitted gas instainious hot water. the curved roof is a pain in a lit of ways. i am to old or i would build a new van on the new square shape.
🙌🏼
