  • building en testing the most clever charcoal grate design I've ever seen it's helping to filter the dust out from the source because of the 270deg turn instead of 180 Deg, the pressure drop was in comparison about tha same as the 14mm bar en 15mm distance grate the flame en the unburned Charcoal was neglectebly small

    Oscar hello! Sergey's gas generator? Or it's another gas generator, I see you put a 3D grille.

      Its more advanced now then sergeys generator, so yes en no, it's a different design but yeah it has the 3d grille this helped getting near zero tar from the raw gas out of a stratified dual fire gasiffier , I have a 3d grille on al my gasiffiers now 😀

    Oscar, that’s thinking out of the box, good idea. So does your gas go thru a filter or not? I’m liking how you’re dialing it all in.

      No the 2 stage gasifier only needs a dust filter ther is no tar produced at al

      @@oscarverwey what mechanism is the second stage?

    • @oscarverwey
      @oscarverwey  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Stage 1 is a indirect heated charcoal producing scruw feeder it uses the heat from the producer gas en the exhaust of the engine for drying, torrefaction, steam&air superheating en pyrolizing Al by reusing waste heat from the process so no radiator is needed. Pyrolisis at low temperature (around or below bellow 500 deg c) is beneficial in the creaking stage because only primary tar is produced!
      the second stage consists of a ring nozzle burner that burns only some of the tar en the charcoal from the scruw feeder falls right though the burner in the reduction zone where the superheated tar, steam en co2 are reduced by the charcoal so it makes no tar whit just a little air like 0.10 equivalent ratio instead of 0.25 / 0.45, the funny thing is whitout adding any air the gas is already Cleaner then most gasifier flames I've seen on TH-cam 😂
      Fun fact about the character of this machine, the gas production is proportional to the heat added to the screw feeder not by the amount of air drawn in the gasifier so the more load on the engine the more gas it makes

      No problem dude , gasification has a bad name en together we can set this right these tar making machines need to go ! I would appreciate it if you could mention me if you decide to make something approximating my design make sure you watch Al the videos I have about this machine everything is shown, good luck!
