- This is a full step-by-step tutorial to crochet this cute stingray. This pattern is suitable for beginner/ intermediate crocheters.

I started my project over again over 3 times and the stitch count never added up. I even switched yarns. I strictly counted every stitch but it never ended up where the tutorial said it should be. Very disappointing. I’m still trying to make this one. I hope i can finally make it.

the same thing happened to me. glad i’m not the only one lol
My like fin gill things aren’t closing off…. The decreasing isn’t adding up…
In row four (part 1), try making 13 single stitches, do the first fin, and the 11 single stitches before the second fin. That worked it out for me
Wow, how quickly the second part of the tutorial came out! It's great that there is no sewing. I don't really like to sew amigurumi, so I like this cute stingray even more :)
By the way, I think if the tummy is made white, it will turn out to be even more realistic stingray.

It was so easy to make! It only took me one hour, which saved me a lot of time. I had to crochet this last minute for a birthday. It’s so cute as well.

Started crocheting about a year ago, got frustrated because I couldn’t make this stingray. Came back today and finished it in one sitting, this is an amazing tutorial and I’m so glad I was able to finally finish this project :)

Is it me or did it jump from row 23-24 to 26? Lol I had to rewind three times thinking I missed grow 25
She accidentally forgot round 25 as she replied to another comment and said that round 26 is supposed to be 25 so it doesn’t really change it

You can use same pattern with thinner yarn or hook or both and it will come out smaller

This tutorial is so easy to follow, some of the written instructions are a little unclear without watching the video imo. I started my first one with the written pattern because I'm pretty experienced but kept getting the wrong stitch count and my end product was cute but a little wonky 🤣 my second one was perfect because I watched the video from the beginning which is where thing's went south the first time! Thanks for making such a clear and easy video for this amazing free pattern!

the face and fins of mine are lopsided but that's okay bc I still love him :] I'll try it again and see what mistake I made so I can get better. my sting ray is named Irwin 😭💜 thank you so much for this easy to follow pattern! it was very helpful and even though you used a plush yarn I could still easily understand your stitches without seeing them because you explained them very very well! definitely subscribing now

Love the stingray, but I noticed at round 5, the stitch count was off. I even tried undoing it and watching the video before making the rounds, and the count is still off. Then, I went to look at the written pattern and counted your wording and I'm still getting 45 total stitches at the end of row 5 when it states it's supposed to be 49... and it even looks like in your video you're getting the right count. So I'm unsure if there's an issue in the beginning of the pattern or the end. Help?
hi i’m just wondering. since i’m left handed. when i put the eyes on should the stitch marker still have to be on the left or would it be the right for me? i cant figure it out :)

if you wanted to make it larger how would you add on the stitches to know how many to decrease etc?
