Hi sir thank you for this tutorial, I was just wondering, where you got the second map? The cursor went on the far end of the screen that wasn't showed. I hope you can help me. Thank you!
can you make a tutorial bro Vray Object/Material to Corona? i'm a 2010 3ds Max User, i want to use the components/Object that i have to apply it in Corona Renderer..
www.poliigon.com/texture/grunge-wall-038 This was the map i used for the wall. Used the Gloss map. Here is a free alternative texturehaven.com/tex/?c=plaster&t=white_plaster_02 . Its not the same and also bit too rough in our case just soften the map in photoshop and it might actually work for the glossiness.
Hi sir, correct me if im wrong.. i feel that opacity and translucent works the same way? What is the difference? For example, if the opacity mapping i set it to 50%, it can achieve the same translucent effect. Am i right? Im confused @.@
They both work differently. The actual science behind the difference between transparency(opacity) and translucency is bit more complicated. But puting it simply opacity is how much light can pass through an object while translucency also factors in how the light scatters inside the object itself. If you want to know more en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transparency_and_translucency Here is the article.
That was a jpg texture map dragged from my windows explorer into material editor. When you drag and drop image file from windows into material editor it creates bitmap node for us.
@@jailanh.4877 Corona comes with free material library. That should be enough to get you started. In terms of textures texturehaven is good not alot of textures though.
Hi sir, what's the difference between general bitmap and corona bitmap? When you drag the jpeg into the screen, it is consider general bitmap or corona bitmap? Does it matter? Tq
Basically they both work the same way. General bitmap comes with 3ds max and while corona bitmap comes only when corona is installed. When you drag and drop it creates a general bitmap. It really doesnot matter which one you use. For me I find the environment rotation easier with corona bitmap when Using HDRI to light the scene. Hope that answers your question

It is just a JPG image I dragged and dropped from windows explorer.

Hello, please where did you get the first map for the glossiness reflection?
