Bueno les contaré esta anécdota que me marcó y por eso está hermosa canción siempre será muy especial para mi! Hace algunos años llegué a la ciudad de Santiago de Chile a probar suerte (Soy Colombiano) y como estaba corto de dinero, busque un lugar económico para vivir. Llegué a casa de una señora que vivía con sus dos hijas una de 10 años y otra de 8 la cual era una nena discapacitada, totalmente dependiente de su madre ya que tenía un serio problema de motricidad y un profundo autismo que la llevaba a ponerse eufórica y agresiva en ocaciones. Pero había algo mágico que hacía que está nena se tranquilizara... se relajara... Siii! Era Star de Simply Red! recuerdo que su madre le ponia a escuchar está cancion muchas veces al día... le encantaba escucharla! y a mi tambien! Realmente era mágico!!
pues su espiritu tiene muy buen gusto pese a cualquier limitacion fisica o mental, esa es la magia de la musica, la buena musica.

This song is a real masterpiece, in whatever one can think of. I LOVE listening to it no matter what emotional state I am. I recall the ties I was fully independent, self-sufficient, happy. This song and tunes bring me to those years, no painful memories through it.

My love of my life left me a few years a go and, in that moment, this song was playing all day, every five minuts in my house.
When I heard it, in that moments, I was like "Oh, this is a beatiful, powerful and gorgeous song, Im literally the boy who's talking in that song".
And something great happened, my pain was reduced moderately.
I'm very thankful with this Band, for this, and many other songs they left us.
I apreciate so much their music.
God bless all thier members. May be someday we'll see them playing together again.

When this album was released they were huge and were part of the soundtrack of the 80's its still played on Commercial radio today and still as good as anything in the charts.

This used to played on the music that played in the store I worked in then. I heard this at least 4-5 times a day. I couldn't stand it at the time, but now 24 years later I can say I actually like the song.
