They are. The true self, the Shadow, the part of oneself that is denied and suppressed- most of the characters were, at least to a degree, suppressing their rebellious inner self, and only when they accepted the need to fight back, did they awaken to their Personas.
4:11 I actually never noticed that this Persona had a cigarette in it's mouth this entire time!!! Was that cigarette there this whole entire time and I never noticed????
Well yeah if read the description it says that for all of them this is you know Raol is Jokers Ultimate despite not actually awakening to it in the story
@@joshuabergman3292 incorrect that’s his second awakening notice how every second awakening is based on a god Sataneal follows the same pattern as well as Loki the third is the personas fused as one to give the persona their true name notice how Roal has similar traits not just to Arsene but Sataneal as well
From P3 Reload I initially thought that Cendriol would be linked to the Wheel of Fortune card, then to the image of the Star, a naked girl near a stream. If Cinderella had only stolen the dress she would have had to take a bath, given the phrase said a couple of times "Covered in ashes". Yoshizawa's Magical girl transformation is due to the fact that Cinderella is transformed by magic. Then I discover the ancient meaning of gymnastics..
There could also be Odysseus, Sherazane from the Thousand and One Nights or Butch Cassidy .. they are all thieves or cheaters In Phantom X they are more rebellious I had an idea about the next ones I had suggested the presence of the real Kasumi in the X world .. there are different versions of Cinderella before the Grimm, some with a golden dress and shoes ...
They could have V from V for Vendetta, and the third awakening be Hugo (his actor in the movie), similar to Carmen and Celestine (altough not as iconic given her story with the character, but still)
I would design Sherazane similar to a genie in a lamp, with the lower part of her body made of smoke. I was also thinking of another game that is not Phantom X.. since the last virtue is missing.. in Italy there are three extra cards Faith, Hope and Charity.. which are not in Tactis, for some Prudence is represented by the Hermit
Aww man, I regret to inform you that you completely butchered the pronunciation of Valjean. It's less "Val-JIN" and more "Val-SHAWN." This is brought to you by some guy who performed in Les Miserables in highschool That said, I absolutely love Persona lore. Keep it up!
Feel free to share any facts or information I didn’t include in the video with everyone!
I like milady since she gives a chance to haru for who will she betray the phantom thieves or her dad
This is amazing! I think my favorite detail you shared is about Azathoth, and all of reality being its dream. That really fits with Maruki!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In persona 3, Metis said that Persona is Shadows themself
Yep, and persona 4 made this all the more clear, a persona is literally just a tamed Shadow

So every ultimate persona is the starter persona's real self/name
*The true self…*
They also wear a modern day costume of what a thief would wear

@hasshenjo6416 wrong, Joker's ultimate is Satanael and it's the only one

Akechi's persona should've been Herlock or Sholmes, to demonstrate their relationship.
