I tend to set mine for relatively long because for York's or FITA's the accuracy seems much more critical at 90m or 100yds than at the short 30m or 60yds, the anchor gets tight especially at 30m but its seems less of an issue than mid or even 80yds
If you moved weight to the heals and then pivoted on them. This would keep the foot position the same as far as toe spacing and then just opening the hips a little more or less depending on what you're needing.
It's a feel thing that some like for certain bows. It gives a more grounded feeling where the center of mass is for some bows and helps. It can also help reduce side to side wiggle when you first anchor and help you get on target and start your shot quicker.
How to use rest release and what is the most important thing about it?
How can i choose the rest release?
Great content. Thanks.
Much appreciated!
