  • This quirky theme park tells the classic stories of various fairy tales through the use of sculptures, animatronics, and even rides! The level of detail is very elaborate- not an inch goes untouched! Hear what we had to say in this full review!

    When all the shutdowns happened they did a campaign for people to help the park...I donated for a large painting of the park map by Roger Tofte and he signed it...Pretty cool and it is up on my wall framed now

    I've loved going to this theme park as a kid and can't wait to go again now knowing it was hand made by a family. The rides are fun, the water show was always a favorite of mine, and overall was just a fun and charming experience.

    Salem born and raised. I've been coming here for around 30 years now and still enjoy every visit. I was so afraid during the pandemic and wildfires that it would be lost, but they were able to pull through with the help of the fundraising and I was thrilled to be able to finally be able to take my children. They loved it and can't wait to go again.

    Visited Enchanted Forest MANY times growing up. I can remember the Snow White witch animatronic looking more normal when I was younger, they enlarged her head a bit. I was also afraid to go through the Haunted House when I was little, the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland sort of helped me there

    One park that I'd urge you to visit even though there's no coaster is Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY. It has got to be the most "out of the way" park in America. It's essentially got two water parks (a jungle theme and an Adirondack theme) plus a fairy tale/little house area like Great Escape plus a dry ride section. It's surprisingly big given its location. I always thought that if they built a Gravity Group junior woodie it would bea great stop for enthusiasts.

    • @CoasterStudios
      @CoasterStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never heard of this place, but just looked up a few photos of it, it looks cute! Definitely more of a water park than a theme park, but some of the theming elements are fun!

  • @kentslocum

    The nicest thing about Enchanted Forest (besides the handmade charm and the incredible watershow) is the fact that it is literally in a forest. On a hill. So when it's 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, it only feels like 75 degrees at Enchanted Forest. The shade, the breezes, and the many indoor structures make this a great place to beat the heat.

    There is a quirky park at the base of pikes peak that this reminds me of. Heavier on interaction and experience, Santa clause themed.
    If you climb pikes peak and the speak a few hours there afterwards you will get some thrills.
    It has one kiddy coaster on the edge of a cliff that they slowly speed up each lap and a ferris wheel that looks out over highway 24.
    If you go and ride that new Gersh. . . It's worth half a day climbing the peak and experiencing that little park.

    Definately a unique park that's a must if you're passing through. I went a little less than a month ago, it has a case as the best stateside park in the Pacific Northwest (of course PNE Playland in Vancouver would be the best, sadly I didn't end up going, thinking I'd get the opportunity in August after the new coaster opens. Sadly that won't happen because adult problems).
