I was making a short lecture with my 4-year-old grandson about God: who He is, why we love Him, why He died, and why He will come back. He was listening seriously after which he asked me this question: "Grandma, how did He become a stone?" (probably referring to the statues he saw in the church). My answer was: "We made God in the stone as our reminder of Him until He comes back." The next question was: "How do we know he comes back if He is invisible?" There could be a better answer than what I gave.
I think this is my very favorite recording I have heard. Thank you so much for treating these children with so much dignity and respect! And their questions are so pure, they really helped me to have a better understanding of my own questions! Thanks so much for this and I hope to hear more!
I Love Bishop Barron and his insights. I am a Catholic . I am so glad to subscribe to your TH-cam Channel coz I learn everyday from your Ministry . Jesus Christ is Love and he is truly good.
Philip the second whipped your great-grandfather until he converted. You great-grandfather passed this lie to your grandfather, to your papa, and to you. Then u pass to your children. #sheepBrain #sad
Is there a way of contacting you. I want to seek a priest to begin to become a Catholic. I am absolutely certain and feel the need in my heart. I live in Pittsburgh and not exactly sure how to find a Priest with kindness and sensibilities like you Bishop.. Bless you in all things. Your teachings have meant a lot to me.
vicki Hudson-cherrix Perhaps do a search for the name of the Diocese in your area and then visit the website for your Diocese. Look on their website for RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. There should be many resources available there. I will pray for your journey to conversion and being received into full communion with the Body of Christ. I am soooo happy for you!
Vicki, May God bless you! I am going through this right now. Bishop Barron is in Los Angeles and probably too busy to answer these requests individually. Start by contacting the closest few churches to you by either email or telephone. They will set up a time for either a Church deacon or a priest to contact you and answer your questions. Everyone is a still adjusting to the new normal, so don't be put off if it takes a few extra days for someone to get back to you. I am enjoying myself so much. Start learning your Rosary! God bless and welcome home!
Vicki, I will pray for you. Continue to ask God to guide you. You will find the priest who may not like Bishop Barron, of course no one will because everyone is unique in its own way. You may be surprised when you meet a priest who God leads you to. God bless you.
I think once you are fixated on seeking the Truth in the Catholic Church, regardless of the priest of Bishop, that will take more priority. May the Holy Spirit guide you.
I teach CCD I had a question from a student she asked did God know That Eve would eat the Apple and that Adam would also and if Adam refused what would the world be different
I truly enjoyed that Q&A exchange. As usual, Bishop Barron, your answers are respectful and succinct. How can children contact you with respect to additional questions? I know some children who have many.....please and many thanks. God bless.
He already announced that Pentecost Sunday would be the last live stream (on the website, email if you're subscribed) but would be announcing new/other endeveavors. God Bless.
Still not convinced about "God cannot do no-thing"? To me, it still implies that there are things God cannot do. Can't God make something contracdictory come to pass?
As a catholic, where is the Catholic church to be found during this time where we are witnessing gross violations of human dignity at the hands of police brutality? I haven’t seen a single church leader condemn the death of George Floyd and yet we complain why people are leaving the Church. We cannot act like we are tone deaf to the issues that are affecting our brothers and sisters of the African American community. They too are children of God and deserve basic decency. Actions speak louder than words. Please respond. God Bless.
Matt Blaise Do you seriously think that people who aren’t Catholic are going to tune in? They want to see priests in solidarity and making public statements.
What Matt is referring to is Bishop Barron did this very thing during his Sunday Mass (yesterday), available on TH-cam and broadcast every Sunday, hence the “Erm...”. A public Mass is kinda the public forum for a Bishop or Priest, especially when it’s watched by so many during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Puffy Elvis Very good. Kudos to Bishop Barron. But I am talking about a firm public statement, not a homily where only Catholics tune in. I am not satisfied with what I am seeing. It not about preaching to the choir, its about going out an publicly condemning these grotesque violations. Isn’t that legitimate evangelizing??? I don’t appreciate the “erm” statement. Its meant to offend me for raising a legitimate point. I am not seeking to criticize Bishop Barron. As far as I am concerned, he is a Saint to be. Very sad.
I love how you teach with authority yet explain the question simple enough for a child. Thankyou Bishop Barron.
When you realize the kids are asking questions adults still have. 😳🤔🙏🏻
It is really interesting how much you can learn from kids
Truly this kids pop up magnificent questions. And Bishop Barron just manages to get them through.

Smart kids that deserve sincere answers... Who says adults can't learn from children?!
The adults. The adults say that.

Thankyou to the Children for the Fantastic questions. Also Thankyou Bishop Barron for your Interesting Answers. I Love listening to you.🙏😁
Thanks for your efforts BP Barron and team

This was a lot more amazing than i thought it would be lol
These kids are so cute!!!!
I learn so much from these Kids Q&A shows. Informative and heart-warming. Us adults get too fancy sometimes but kids keep it simple.

Good morning and thank you for the teaching I really enjoyed littering . God bless and many blessings your friend from Whittier Theresa
26:22 is, I believe, mistakenly right at the beginning even before the intro. Just the question and Bishops pre answer

Are those videos, books available outside your country? Thank you. From UK.
Is Bishop Barron continuing daily mass live stream? Please announce whether or not he will continue. Thanks you
Yes, he has been on TH-cam. Pentecost’s Homily was fantastic!

Well, you COULD do something but that doesn't mean you will ever DO it. If something contradicts your very being, you won't take such measures.

Did you watch the mass on Sunday? He did mention what you asked for.
The Archbishop of Denver put out a statement as did the USCCB.
