Hey, Long time no see! It's me, Solomon Cazer, and this is a male dramatic monologue is from the play Fences, written by August Wilson which has been adapted for the oscar-nominated Film by Denzel Washington This is originally from a dialogue scene, but I am performing a scene converted into monologue form. You have some raw talent, but it looks like your still in the period of your career where your trying to copy/keep up with actors, and it makes the piece suffer. I’d look up some poets pieces to edit into monologues if I were you. You act well, your presence is good, you have a fairly strong voice. But branch out for monologues. There’s many outlets to find a great performance piece that aren’t from well known plays.
