Hi everyone, those of you who have been with me for a while probably know that I'm good vibes only and don't like to get involved in any sort of conflict. But after hearing about numerous stories of lpsloverqa and its sister companies judylovelps and Taylor LPS deliberately stealing from artists in this community and exploiting their own customers for monetary gain, I have a social responsibility to spread the word about this so more people understand what's been going on behind the scenes of these companies.
This video explores just a handful of stories from people in this community who have been used and exploited so that lpsloverqa can make thousands of dollars for their mass produced customs without giving artists their fair share. As an artist myself, it grosses me out to no end when I see people not respecting the value our work has. I will no longer be supporting lpsloverqa or its sister companies, and I sincerely hope that you do the same.
This video is not being monetized and exists purely to get the information out there. Please share this around because after the horrible things these companies have done to so many people in the LPS community, they don’t deserve our respect or money. I'm really sorry for bringing up something so negative, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I love this community from the bottom of my heart and don't ever want to see it exploited again.

As a customizer and artist, I definitely appreciate this video about bringing to light the shadiness of the stuff lpsloverqa does. They also tried to buy a review from me once, but as I don’t have my own Amazon I had to decline… guess I dodged a bullet there.
I am so glad I am not on a platform where they can target my customs. I’m surprised HelloStudios hasn’t been targeted or stolen from yet. I will also be making a video, and I’ll pry talk about it on the LCC chat with y’all. This is awful and the word must be spread!
@@x.perseus.x HelloStudios did reveal that she had been targeted in the past for her Axolotl customs, but they didn't steal from her. They tried to buy the mold and one of her designs for like $50 or something, but she refused.

@@x.perseus.x Yeah, it was ridiculous. I remember her posting on her story about a design that was submitted to them that looked SCARILY like Optic (but without his wings), and she seemed pretty uncomfortable about it, despite her joking manner of talking about the situation.

It’s a shame that this situation developed in the LPS community. I have always felt that Hasbro shouldn't have stopped making the G2 pets that most of the LPS community love. Maybe Hasbro would have used some of the LPS customs that artists created and be properly compensated for their time and labor.

It honestly makes me sick to my stomach on how they took advantage of the LPS community, considering we were and still are desperate for Hasbro's G2 molds to make a return. I did think it was too good to be true they were making these with good intentions; it's a sick marketing scheme I'm upset so many people fell for, especially the artists who were barely paid for their hard work. It's really unprofessional of them to only care about the money they're recieving and not the money they should be giving.

@@MuddyLPS No, there's been no official announcement from Hasbro that the g2 molds are coming back. There are companies like this, however, that replicate the molds and put new designs on them. This video explains how the most major of these companies are doing illegal things to make money from the community.
Oh yuck. I have the blonde collie with heterochromia and I love him dearly, but this feels gross. I should have known it was too good to be true that someone was making g2 molds with the false embodiment of a company that wants to support the community. It was a very clever marketing scheme to find a community desperate for Hasbro's g2 molds and take advantage of artists within the lps community to get a bunch of money quick. They are really unprofessional when responding to the removal of the watermark. It doesn't feel right. The worst part is, they could always masquerade as a different company that doesn't involve the stolen designs. I feel that the best we can do is spread awareness and provide very negative reviews on their amazon and ebay.
Yeah I’m going to stay away from any companies like this from now on even if they go under different names :( there’s just too much about their business practices that we don’t know for me to comfortably continue supporting them

It is definitely going to hurt the customizing community since they are the company that produces good quality bases, and will increase the prices/rarity of authentic lps because of it. Until someone who is genuine in the community shows up we are in a bad situation, even if a genuine individual shows their face we can't trust them. Unfortunate situations all around.

Yuck is a brilliant word to describe these people. I’ll be staying away from Amazon and other platforms where they could target my customs. I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else now that our brilliant CCR Television has helped spread the word. This company of criminals, for lack of a better word, will not have a fun downfall. I doubt anyone will trust them again. Honestly Cecilia has just become the hero of the Lps community. To all of those who help us share the word, we are the Lps Avengers.

omg Thats actually horrible i am reading this in 2024, And lol i did not know about this i have tons of their customs in my cart well not anymore. Not intel i found this. video. I'm not seeing anymore of their customs on Amazon Anymore so that's good. I'm really sorry for the Beautifull awesomely Talented Lps Artist's who have been expedited or have their work be used. And it really grosses me out the fact that They used peoples Addresses For selling Addresses especially the fact that Most of the lps Creators or collectors have been trusting them, And most of the people i know buying from them where teens with their parents credit cards.. I have trusted them for over 5 years thinking wow great customs i might buy one. spoiler alert i didn't And I'm glad i didn't this is Actually so horrible. And i wish that the lps artist or buyers from them Are doing fine they deserve better then this. i know I'm very late to this video. but it was on my playlist that i haven't touched in years lol. I am appalled. I feel so sick having these pets, but I still love the designs so much and want to use them. I'm glad I bought all the customs I wanted before all this started being exposed so I don't have to feel bad about buying them while knowing what this company has done. I'll be deleting the videos I've made reviewing their lps as well. They must feel so amazing up there taking advantage of a community of children. I hope they are laughing. It was so sneaky too, because spending like 80 dollars on one lps is so difficult so they gave us a cheaper option but the methods behind it were just sad. This is a massive hit on the lps community, I can't believe our circle has been infected with this corporate disease.
wow. this is just disgusting. i thought of buying a custom from them just a week ago, and im glad i didnt. they clearly only care about money, and not about the time and effort that goes into making these customs. i should know. im an artist.

wow.. i remember i received a pet for promo, they said they’d pay me $20 for it and i never recieved it. never thought it was a big deal because i didn’t lose much, and i’m not a big account, but this whole situation is so so crazy. i will definitely not be buying anything from them :( this is awful

Why would anyone be so cruel to steal designs including exploiting artists and using them to produce products to people, most people in this community are children, and them stealing addresses... That's just sick, they are sick for making people trust them. I feel so bad for artists that got their design's stolen by this manipulator. edit: I can't believe I was about to buy one of their products... from now on I will stay away from these types of sellers. They just make money on stealing things.

i heard lpshoney talk about lpsloverqa stealing the designs, but now seeing the darker side it really ticks me off.
If lpsloverqa makes $1000's of dollars then why can't they just ask and pay a reasonable price for designers? Instead of trying to profit off of young artists and forcing the consumers to make custom ideas for them they should at least credit the ACTUAL artists. I'm surprised that they haven't gone to jail yet. Both of the artists in this video can probably sue lpsloverqa. (Mind you I don't know if they can sue or not, I don't know that much about this and legal things.)
After years of IA and disconnect from the community, I've spent the last few months or so catching up/seeing the newer creators and this just showed up recommended to me-
I've seen these fake LPS a ton, especially in promos and on places like TikTok or Instagram. I checked their Amazon page and thought the "OOAK" was a weird thing to include in the title since it's pretty clear they aren't.....but as a kid I never understood the OOAK abbreviation & community surrounding it so I doubt the kids / young teens trying to find some semblance of cheap LPS that look nice do too.
My one confusion that prevented me from ever buying one was the fact that there's so many mass produced but never any insight on how that's so. Always gave me an 'off' feeling, especially with the little to none poorer reviews and just, the abundance of them stood out weirdly to me.
It's pretty disheartening, since almost every video that covers the community notes how desperate everyone is for G2 molds, that one of the companies that made decent looking ones pulls this =/ I can't help but feel bad for the kids too who used them & other fakes as a way to still collect LPS without paying so much for an authentic, since LPSLoverqa's entire listing is main 5 pets. It's good that you and kohrux are using your platforms to spread awareness, I'm hoping the bigger accounts on Twitter/TikTok can also bring awareness too since I see these fakes used a lot over there.
Sorry for such a long paragraph pfff . I've seen a lot of ups and downs in the community even from far away, especially since the fall of OG LPS in stores- I hope one day all the scams & shady people eventually give up with this community.

All I’m hearing is that they want to “boycott” Lps customizers and sell all most the same look for less money. That is terrible.
Devastated. Seeing this after one of their lps came in the mail the other day. Are there any legitimate companies/businesses I can support instead? I am absolutely appalled as an artist myself knowing how frustrating it can be when your art is stolen.
The best thing you can do is support customizers within the community directly by commissioning or buying their customs! ^^

Third of all false advertising is illegal.
Honestly feeling pretty bad i used to stand up for them and support their products bc it was the closest i was getting to having my childhood back, but i ended up seeing that heavily damaged LPS custom and my heart just sank ☹️ as someone who tried to dabble in LPS customization when i was young, ik just how hard it is to make a custom, even if what i was doing was the bare minimum in custom standards, so seeing it in a condition like that, i felt awful for the artist. Definitely not supporting their products anymore
I own several of their customs, and this makes me very sad. I love they're designs and it's upsetting to know that they were stolen. I am going to remove all the pets from them on my wishlist, they don't deserve any support. The peach dashcund I've heard of one LPSHoney's channel, and I did not know it was this bad. We all trusted them and thought they wanted to make more G2 LPS for LPS TH-camrs, but really I guess they just were in it for the fame, money, and praise from popular LPStubers. I hope that other LPS tubers make videos like this one addressing it as well so that people are aware of what is happening and will stop buying from them. Thank you for telling us Cecelia
Repulsive, Ive seen their 'OOAKs' on ebay before, I was almost tempted two years ago but i lost out on the bid. Actually really glad i did, I can't even understand how anybody coukd be this horrid. So much sadness for the OG artist. This shouldn't ever happen to any artist.

Thank you so much C.C. for sharing this. I had know idea this was going on, it’s absolutely appalling. I unfortunately received one of these pets for Christmas and I adored him! However, knowing he was made by a company that steals and scams others makes me feel gross. I hope the artists that were wronged are okay and I WILL be sure to check them out. The part at 6:47 when judyloves LPS just said “I’m really sorry😭” is very un-mature. They should have said something like; “I apologize of what I done, I will remove it as my profile picture, if I do this again I will make sure to credit the artists”
I can confirm from personal experience that they have tried bribing people with their products to leave 5 star reviews. I almost accepted it too because I was stupid and didn’t understand just how terrible it was. But thankfully my dad explained why it was bad.
I actually ordered from them like years ago when it started getting popular and my package never arrived, I don’t know what happened, I never got any updates and to be honest it was disappointing since my mother spent 100+ dollars on them for me.
As a kid I loved lps. I don’t love or hate them now but recently I wanted to get some so I searched “cute lps”. When I went to the images the top was flooded with stolen designs selling for 20 dollars. I used to want them so badly but now that I know I never want to see one in my Amazon cart. It’s terrible that stolen designs are still being sold.

As soon as the first bit of drama came out awhile ago I immediately deleted all lps from them off my Amazon wishlist and stopped following them, I knew that it was just the tip of the iceberg so I distanced immediately. I’m so glad I did

I heard about this a few months ago. I first thought that they were a good company until a friend of mine told me about this video talking about it. I was amazed and agreed on what they were talking about and so I didn’t really want to follow the companies journey anymore. But a few months later a creator which is well known for making customs posted on her story about how she got her work stolen and not credited. (Celtic)I didn’t know she deleted her account and it’s so sad we lost such an incredible artist. It was really a shame that people do this. It’s horrible! And then I saw this post and it just makes me go against to company more. Btw that picture at 9:43 I believe was posted by one of the companies accounts to show the before and after and that’s how word spread. I’ve seen it on their account before. Anyways, now I’m considering taking my unboxing vid of one of their pets now because no longer want to support them. They also asked me to promote their let and it was really weird because they wanted me to buy the pet then they paypalled me the money back. Like why would you do that? There are many more simplified ways to do it. Now watching this video, I’m worried they did this to steal my address but idk. Really sad. And thank you so much for informing more of the community about this. This needs to be shared and make people aware.

I haven't been a part of LPS anything since about 2013, I never even knew there were lps customs! It's horrible what has happened, and the fact someone's joy has been tainted due to this company.
Time to dispose of the custom collies I bought from them.

I am a lps designer but to STEAL people's lps designs is terrible the original designs are so beautiful and adorable but lpsqalovers versions are terrible they stole the original designers designs they just want the spot light ITS TERRE AND STUPID I hope they get caught it's disgusting and just ew if my lps shadow her design gets stolen I will be in RAGE this is very terrible I hope they get caught still I feel so sorry for the designers

The paying for 5-star reviews is true! I was involved in a raffle they did, and basically, the whole thing was, they said they would pay for the lps figure, and that I would go review it. I didn;t have money at the time I won, so I stalled from buying it, and when I asked later they never responded.

they reached out to me about using my address as a selling location and about giving them a review on amazon, at the time i didn’t think much of it, until I gave them my review and they told me exactly what they wanted it to say. it was weird dude
Believe it or not, lots of Chinese manufacturers do this. Since this operations on a smaller scale, that's why you're seeing lots of smaller art accounts being taken advantage of, but there was drama a few years back with a really big artist and Hasbro because she claimed they used one of her original pieces and created a Monster High or Ever After High doll and received no credit from it. I don't know the validity of her claim, I never really interacted with her account, but honestly Chinese manufactures do this all the time.
Unfortunately, any boycott of this company won't do anything, as they have protection from the CCP AND their consumer base is most likely much more massive than we believe. They only have 18k on Instagram, but keep in mind, people IN china are not allowed to use Instagram, Twitter, TH-cam, etc. meaning their consumer base could be in the millions and we would never know (and yes, even a consumer base in the millions is considered small scale).
I'm not necessarily trying to defend them, I don't really have feelings for a big manufacturer in China, but I don't think calling people to boycott is the right way to go about this. This is the only company I've seen that has had LPS (albeit knockoff LPS) that are cheap enough for kids to play with again. Not to mention their blank bases are AMAZING. My biggest issue isn't that they're losing money BUT people's response to the said boycott. People are going to take it upon themselves to "educate" others, and with the age demographic of LPS fans, they're not going to go about it well.
I'd much rather people make the personal decision to no longer buy from somewhere, rather than a long "exposed" video that inherently encourages social activism that always ends in harassment is my point. I think the video is very well made, and I even learned a few things I hadn't known before, but I don't feel its necessary for a younger audience to become social educators on a Chinese company.
To follow up, the ONLY reason I continuously bring up that this is a Chinese company that's manufacturing in China, is because of a lot of the misconceptions surrounding this whole ordeal. A lot of the legal aspects only apply to certain countries. The "False advertising" claim, for example, isn't illegal in China, as well as the blatant art theft, isn't illegal under the circumstances. Its definitely reprehensible, but the idea of legality truly doesn't apply because of the location
What an awful thing to do! I will admit, I have purchased from them before, having plenty of the Lps believing they were original designs, or bought and payed for. I have also purchased their custom bases, as they are cheaper than buying a bunch of single fake ones. Thank you for talking about this- more people need to hear. I will be making a video about this in the very near future to help spread the awareness of these activities. I cannot believe someone could stoop this low. I am absolutely disgusted. I will most likely not be purchasing from them again, unless I really need custom bases. If I do, I will be greatly furious that I am giving them money that they don’t deserve. There may be some who still support these… criminals, for lack of a better word, but just know that most of us agree with you, and the victims, and will stand with you. Thank you again! ❤️

This makes me sick. Luckily I never bought anything from them as it is hard for me to incorporate customs in my some of my series, which is what I mainly make. Well, now the word is out.
this is awful! i did get really suspicious when I saw their “blue star” and “fire star” pets because they are nothing like everything else they sold and usually mass producing companies like this have a certain “style” that they make things in.

What they're doing is so wrong! I am definitely unfallowing them after what I just saw/heard. I will probably actually make a video on this because we need to spread awareness about this so yeah I hope this doesn't happen anymore I'm so sorry for everyone that got targeted by lpsloverqa I'm really just in shock right now, like I feel like I can't trust anyone anymore. I mean, I've always had trust issues but this has gone too far. I feel so bad and horrible for the victims of lpsloverqa. I can't believe they would steal people's art like that. Personally, the most time I spent on one drawing was probably about 3-4 hours, but I know the victims have spent more time then that. And in the world of art, time is money. I still can't believe they were paying little to no money to the people the stole the art from. This is really just so wrong. I am definitely not going to buy from them ever. I thought about for a wile a couple months ago but NOPE NEVERMIND I am staying far away from them.

Gosh, I wanted one of their lps, I thought the designs were great but this is just terrible. From the start I did think they were slightly suspicious but I didn’t realise that they’d do THIS.

im actually geuinely upset. i bought a collie custom from their shop in 2019 and since i lived in singapore and at the time (i dont know if its different now) they only shipped to usa so i reached out to them via instagram dms to ask if they could ship one of their collies over to singapore for me. they were so kind and i even lowkey befriended their staff that was helping me out (because i knew they were a company from china and me being chinese myself, i decided to speak to them in chinese and they just opened up after that).
the person i was talking to seemed so friendly which made me all the more disappointed and upset that a company which i have trusted had done all these terrible things to artists such as myself. i wish those artists thats affected all the best :(
There needs more videos on this subject, I just tried looking on TH-cam to see if there’s anyone else talking about it or maybe updates but there’s nothing. Come on LPSTube we need to do something about this!
I believe that collie custom got ruined bc they tried to make a mould of it to reproduce it, thats why its so dirty.

I own a couple of these customs, specifically the brown and grey shorthairs, and I had no idea! I genuinely thought they were real LPS that were just a final run of G2 LPS. I am so disgusted by their actions, and I will make sure that I don't support them anymore.

I have multiple customs of theirs (most of them are designs taken from other preexisting pets) but I adored their spotted heterochromia great dane and starry-eyed cats and now I feel yucky owning them… what should I do?
I actually have the blushing daschund, I bought it 8 days ago. I bought it before seeing this video. When I first saw the daschund, I fell in love. I didn't know about these stolen LPS designs. My daschund arrived today, and I am very mad to see this. I hope lpsloverqa and judyloveslps come to their senses.
Ill be honest, im not really surprised lpsloverqa turned out to be like this, they shouldve never been trusted to begin with.
Bootleggers are massive manipulators, lpsloverqa saw a demand for a product so they; researched it further than other bootleggers, built a large community of young or naive people, and proceeded to use that popularity to make much more profit than if they just made regular fake lps.
Dont fall for people like this that mass produce "new g2 lps".
I am sad to say I still wanna buy all her stolen customs and I wish I didint I am genuinely mad at myself and I feel ashamed

@@ccrtelevision Ik I have a ss somewhere and yah I agree my first custom when I was like 8 was thrown in a box of lps and don’t look that bad, mine didn’t even have a top coat.
You may make a lot of money off of lies, but one wrong move, and everything comes crumbling down.
I feel like this is going too but a large dent in small businesses of custom lps I wanted top get into that and my inspiration was lpsloverqa and now I really just don’t feel like doing it anymore cause my inspiration turned out to be a fraud
So they really don’t care about the lps community or helping people get new cute fake g2 lps. They don’t care what you want. They just care about money and stealing and probably taking advantage of young kids who don’t know the truth about what they are really doing. Awful.
Probably a stupid reason to be upset, but what is making me especially mad is that they are asking these designers to hand over THEIR work for so little money. I've found normal LPS the amount these people are asking for which is so upsetting seeing of how these designers sell their work because they are proud of it and do it for a hobby. It's so obvious lpsloverqa is just in it for their own profit and really do not care about the designer's time, work and money going into them.

So...
I bought a 7 pack of these customs in early 2021 but only received 6 of the lps which really upset me because it was the blonde lps with his ear up and was so exited for mainly that one. I was so upset because I spent almost 100 dollars on that pack (I'm Canadian so keep in mind its more expensive for us!!!) (in USD its like 70 dollars) i got ripped off and swept it under the carpet not thinking anything of it until now! :(

Honestly, I'm interested in buying LPS again (after a few years), probably even customs or fakes like lpsloverqa makes since they seem like they're nice quality. I wish there was more options. I'm sad that I keep seeing lpsloverqa "customs" everywhere on ebay when I look around. They look so nice...

Wow I had no idea anything like this had been going on! I’ve been out of the community for the past 5/6 years but I’ve recently been getting Into customizing and buying some of their bases. I always thought it was fishy how they listed things as “OOAK” when it was clearly mass produced and not hand painted and how they had so many different names selling the same exact products but that’s awful! I don’t want to support that at all. Does anyone know where else I might could get some good bases for customs without supporting them?

This is horrible to hear I myself have experienced art/oc theft but not this serious most of my ocs have a meaning to me and some are based on irl people or something I made to make up for trauma. I made an oc abt my cat that sadly passed away, I posted it and someone stole it. I was so sad I almost cried tbh.
I never used lpsloverQA, I didn’t really think it was worth it. Sure, there molds are cute and such, but I never really thought they looked worth the money..
