If your wife wants divorce and does not believe in your changes, most likely, you’re experiencing what we call the paradox of change, and the valley of resistance.
And in my experience, when faced with a wife who wants divorce, most people who do not have not a single clue about the paradox of change will struggle to break through. In fact, it might make their wife’s desire for divorce even stronger as they push them further away.

Same. 4 grand is outrageous to ask of desperate men seeking help. I just sat through 1.5 hours of stuff to only realize I can’t afford it providing for myself and my family, staying somewhere else, eating somewhere else every day. It’s not that it’s not that important ,because it is. But my kids have to eat.

I can't even begin to tell you how much just the free information has helped me. Breaking this video down into notes really put alot into perspective for me. It's amazing to me that the information is so challenging. And In a single video.
Coming across as fake and sounding like a therapist is my biggest worry. She's just going to think I'm up to something and shut down even further. You explaination was so good. Such a clear way to put it. It's going to be hard in the valley but just look forward to the incline and improvement.
Every time I watch your video, it always boils down to innate human nature. People want to embrace change, but they have to fight their own natural tendency to resist it. Not only do we all have to go through a valley of resistance, but the only thing that helps us through is not just our own definition of ourselves, but also our strong conviction to change.
Thanks for reassuring me that progress can go downhill. I was making really good progress with my wife and I had a bad evening and said some things. I think the key here is not to throw my hands up and let all of my efforts go to waste. I think I just need to reset and keep going

Hello, Mr. Setiawan. Thank you for your succinctly put videos, as always.
It’s been 8 months since my break-up and while I’ve gradually felt and been doing better, more positive such that I even got cleared by my psychiatrist after the whole treatment thing, it didn’t bring her back. It’s okay though, not everything has to go my way. I’m just soldiering on with my life and cherishing the good memories that I have.
I have to admit though, now I can’t even feel attraction for the opposite sex. I don’t know if this is chemical or psychological related (been off medication for almost a month). It’s been a rollercoaster for the last few months.

Well I wish I can save mine.. been months haven’t spoke to her Or my kids but once a week ago she completely avoids me and contact with me..says she is to hurt been 4 months she walked out on me we had a home and everything..but my mistake is to big so idk how to come back from it.. I feel good learned to forget and concentrated on myself and how to be better. And had the time to accept my mistakes and what was the landslide of my marriage and we’re it went wrong and why? But my mistake she won’t forgive me she said all that when she left. She still doesn’t wanna see me she avoids me and she says she is still hurt and We haven’t really talked. Let alone I didn’t even talk about meeting or the breakup just said hello when she called and how she been..

I'm finding my wife is at loggerheads of resolving the new me compared to the old me. I had a flight mechanism in me which isn't in me anymore. She wants us to live seperately, but I'm holding strong. We have a 4 y/o daughter. She needs emotional space now so giving space. I'm thinking wait for her to reach out so I'm not pushy or needy. Man, I got her to believe the changes I made. Last night she said she needed a divorce. She said I’d changed, but it was too late. There was just too much pain and resentment to overcome.

I’m not able to see her right now just barely able to text with her she said she didn’t want to try with me any more after 3 weeks of no contact later after some questions I asked if she was just done with me and she said I don’t know so there actually was a little improvement through our conversation that was 2 days ago since then I have texted her and she has replied and I’ve kept it pretty light just waiting for the next step to try making her feel safe again

Tried your methods. Turns out she had already moved on to someone new. It was somewhat of a wasted effort on my part. Still sound advice for those with a chance.
