Basically, what the Bishop did was so unbelievable that many humans who are run by the ego & hatred, their minds cannot comprehend that someone would respond with love to their attacker.

Dude when this happened and there were videos about it, my heart sank when i saw the full footage of it and not just slide show images of the events completely ignoring the main injury. He is such a strong man both physically and spiritually.

When I heard what he did... He literally inspired me to practice my faith in Jesus. The following week I got hit by a Car and the guy slapped my back afterwards. Luckily I didn't get a major injury, but I had a choice whether to fight back with my boys but I remembered this Act and this is how as Christians we should react... Out of love! I just want to say my friend was there and mar mari was pryaing over the man while ladies held a rag on his eye while his face was bleeding. I have the video it was shared around my community. We go to mar mari on fridays for preaching he says in english, the night of the attack was monday where he only preachs in assyrian so its all old grandparents there. Little dog knew what he was doing or he was sent 100%

I'm from Australia I'm South American from Chile and I'm from that part of sydney south west region so I go to bishop mar Mari congregation (the good Shepard church) on Sunday, not every sunday but I do go, and all I can say that it's not fake and definitely no lie, Bishops eye is patched up and he's still spreading the love, truth, and gospel of Yeshua. I've been watching Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel for quite awhile now. He's a true follower of Yeshua and what happened to him was horrific to watch, but YHWH has used it for good! Before that happened to the Bishop, there were some of us who knew of him, but AFTER that happened, millions now see him and KNOW he's a genuine follower and teacher of Yeshua's and he leads by example. He prays for and loves that young man who attacked him. In a world full of megachurches and millionaire pastors constantly hustling folks for money, Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel is an example of love your enemies, and by being a faithful servant of Yeshua's, many have turned their lives over Yeshua and are now born again! All of us would be so blessed to be used by Yeshua in the same way! I'm so thankful for the Bishop,the Lord has sent us a wonderful and faithful teacher, and I can say he's had a wonderful effect on my life, I've learned much from him. If you dive deeper into Mari Mari you find out he prays to saints and mary and even said he went to hell and came back. He says in a past sermon that Mary is the way to heaven and to pray to her. He sprinkles in truth, but pushes his beliefs. His beliefs that are not right. You don’t pray to mary or saints. I use to support Mari Mari, but all of this changed my mind.

The bishop brought me back to my father Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the day he got attacked I woke up (I’m in England he’s in Australia) and had a shroud of hurt feelings over me and my heart was racing and aching and then a twitter notification popped up that there was a church attack and a bishop was stabbed in Australia and I immediately knew it was Mar Mari, I prayed to God that he was safe and prayed hard (selfishly) that God keep bishop mar mari alive because I follow him and he brings me close to God weekly as I watch his weekly mass, thank you God for sparing mine and your bishop Mar mari, he’s touched my heart so he can touch anyone’s heart he is your soldier against evil and I will blindly follow him into battle!
