hey litas, in the game options it has a other type of gameplay that is more easy because its based on nowadays gameplays, its better than this one that u are playing because its very difficult to move lara
i totally recommend re-mapping some of the buttons! i am not good w/ tank controls but imo the modern controls were just as janky for different reasons :/ but it is an easy learning curve if you play the TR2 croft manor tutorial. i hope this helps i would love to see more of these!! ♡

This asmr is perfect. Tomb Raider is literally one of the best games I've ever played even the classic ones and I love seeing people experiencing this game for the first time. I recommend for you to play with modern controls and complete the toturial in lara's home. That'll make it a lot easier ❤
Tomb raider is a legendary game, i highly recommend to continue the game and learn the mechanics as much as possible. Honestly you should play the tutorial to really get to learn how it works, and if you don't like the Legacy Controls you can actually go into the settings and set them to Modern and you probably wont struggle as much.

This is really nostalgic and i currently picked up TR anniversary on sale for xbox to replay with my family just a week or two ago. This is nostalgic and relaxing at the same time.

I have played the original tomb raider's anniversary edition on pc, I still remember that I was stucked on the very first level where you had to use grappling hook to go to otherside but I was dumb, so I used to play in croft manor, but I never knew how to save the game so it used to start from the very beginning each time, but eventually my uncle told me how to play the game and I completed it somehow. I feel so dumb, a funny memory. 😆
The only hard thing about this game is the horrific controls. They were so bad even when it launched. I played it on launch day. Such a stellar experience though lol.
i loved playing the new tomb raider trilogy but the old games? idk, i love how they look, the music, old lara (but i also like new lara, which a lot dont like that much i guess), the sound effects but holy sh** the controls are and what lara is doing is just horrible. like i get it, they are old but damn. i only played anniversary and underworld a bit (like both half way through kinda) cuz the movement of her and the controls were so chanky and soo frustrating. havent played the remastered trilogy yet but idk if i want to tbh haha...
Yup those are definitely old gen games port like they were 100%. Movement change started to occure with Legendary,Anniversary and Underwold. If you don't want to feel frustrated by this,then yeah maybe skipping playstation opus is a great idea.

I think when you said the tutorial wasn't that fun, maybe you should have pushed ahead and played it, because the rest of the vid is just you struggling with basic movement 😅 No hate though, good asmr, and these games control very differently to modern games, but if you want to have more fun with them I would strongly recommend learning how the basic controls work

The 90's controls can be very tough and frustrating at first, but you improved so much throughout the video!
