Hold your SHIFT key while when you click to craft something and it will do it all, alternatively you dont have to just make one put it in your inventory go back create another, you can just keep clicking and it will keep crafting more
a similar thing happened to me😭 when i was like 9? i accidentally put lava on top of one of my ALL WOODEN buildings (it was really big and complex) and the world was with the guy i had a huge crush on and so everything started burning and i freaked out and put water over everything but that just made obsidian and i fully started crying and screaming and my parents were so annoyed at me😭 and i couldnt bear to play for ages after
You could use different launchers for Minecraft. I personally use Sodium in the launcher curseforge. It increases my fps a lot with lots of headroom for shaders!

She is using shaders so she must have optifine She needs to turn down her shader settings or use built in shaders Also turn down mipmap levels and method
Lowering render distance and disabling shaders helps with FPS lag :D

Try some optimization mods, minecraft vanilla is very badly optimized
