      You could have kept the hatbox when you bought the straw hats. Turn the hat upsidedown, put some paper in the crown, seal the box with non-stick tape and cover with brown paper/shipping brown bags.

    I bought a comforter bag full of Lego manuals, for $20 at Goodwill. I got about 100-150 of them. I have only listed 5 and 4 have sold for $45 pre fees. I have done comps and when all sell total sales should be in the 600-800, I am good with that and super easy to list!

    I'm new to all this. I know what you mean about going back through picked-over hardgoods mins. I picked out about 5lb of Duplo blocks (Legos for Toddlers) last week and I'm hoping they'll sell. If not, I'll use them in "surprise balls" that I make as gifts. #unwrapasurprise
    The lady beside me was picking out all of the tiny Barbie accessories for her granddaughter, so we passed pieces back and forth to each other. There can be some crazies at the bins... but there are also some very nice folks. It was a fun evening.

    I would have picked up the doll bed in this video, and a doll house rub in another video of yours. Replacement parts sell well.

    I like watching you go through the bins. I do 90% of my sourcing there and it's always fun to see what somebody else chooses or discards. We do it alike...list it and forget it. I also find tons of stuff after the other resellers have combed a bin. They fight over Nike Dri Fit, then I walk up and say "oh, is that sterling I see" on a tiny spoon they overlooked under the clothes. Lol. I think I need to plan a trip to your area and do a challenge with you guys. We'd still all find different but valuable stuff.

    Fascinating!!!! Wish the bins werent 90 min away from me. Long ride to have a bad turn out.
    Nice going on the Lego booklets. Yes. I would sell separate first .. Then lot up left overs. . my main business is vtg lingerie and would have bought .One of the maim things to look for is if the elastic is dead or not. Yellowing can be brightened by the customer. It s more work to replace a waist.... So yes. Buy. I ve sold vtg slips and pettipants for well over 25 some extra fancy full slips over 50!

    I definitely would have picked up the 24 blocks! I just sold 9 of the 8” ones for $50 + ship after it only being listed for 10 days. The 14” go for even more.

    just an option, on the bigger items that are 4-5 lbs list them on Poshmark since the pricing on Poshmark is about $7.00 and some change for up to 5 lbs.

    I absolutely love watching you shop at the Goodwill bins I have learned so much in such a short amount of time I also found Dad Videos about a week before I found you. He does a lot more clothes and shoes I do some clothes I haven’t mess with the shoes but I do Harker it’s basically. It’s been a slow start for me people are very aggressive at the Austin Texas Goodwill bins.

    My hubby’s little store is just like yours. Just list and forget. I don’t even remember what we have unless I look thru the active listings. I guess we might dump stuff after a few years but it’s easier to just list it and forgets it if u have the room!

    You’ve been such a valuable resource, so glad I found your channel. I have a small store with about 50 items listed most days. I plan to gradually list more each day to see just how much extra income I can make after being a casual lister for years. I have a TON of Legos all mixed up in bins and the manuals. I sorted them by color and then look up comps before choosing which set to build to sell. This has been a very long and tedious process. I have made good money on the ones I’ve listed but I’m wondering what you would do. I’m tempted to sell them either in lots by color and list the manuals separately like you did. I have pulled all the mini figures and have made great money selling them individually. It’s an overwhelming amount. I go back to it every few weeks and then I move on to other items because of the time it takes to locate all the pieces to make a set. Any advice is appreciated.

    • @BOLOBuddies
      @BOLOBuddies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only build them if they are small or worth $50 or more. So much time and time is money. I also only do it if I have the complete set with the manual. Otherwise I throw them in a tote and will sell in lots.

    • @BOLOBuddies
      @BOLOBuddies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    At 3:44, there is a brown bear with its mouth open. Do you know what it is? I've come across several, but didn't get them.

    • @tammyvaughan2727
      @tammyvaughan2727 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve seen that bear before. It comes with a toy gun and as he growls, I think his mouth opens and closes. You try to shoot balls from the gun into his mouth.

    I have a box full of Lego manuals that I got for free. I was just going to sell them at my garage sale, but now I might just hang on to them and list them. I am also a bread and butter kinda sales person. I just opened my eBay store “Plush Gush” last year and you have been a great resource on information and education. My store is doing great! I appreciate you so much! Thanks!!
