I've finally just started watching this back I'm wearing my Sanctus shirt while I watch. I wish I could've watched it back live with all of you. This footage is just awesome, wish I could've been there for real, looked like a damn fun night 🤘🔥 Man that jam at the end was soo good, the sound came through great on it.
If this was '94, my Mirage days were mostly behind me. Metal's shift to thrash, and grunge displacing metal in general, had me moving on to blues rock. Don't think I ever saw you guys play, but I do remember the name. As an aside... one day I went to Mirage without checking the City Pages schedule. They had Alexander O'Neal booked. As they set up multiple keyboards for his soul / R&B, it was a WTF moment. I knew the Mirage glory days were over LOL. I was told the stage got sold to the MN Music Cafe, so I did have a chance to perform on it a couple of times in some capacity.
This is funny, I have watched your channel for awhile now and and didn't realize you were from Minnesota till I saw this video posted in the I rocked at the Mirage Facebook page, I clicked on it and I was like hey that's the guy from that guitar channel I watch. LOL!!!
NOW I CAN FINALLY COMMENT! Watching from NYC on two screens, but I couldn't comment during the live chat. Lotta great moments; the Mirage show was great, I need a Sanctus album in my collection, jam was hella fun, Cory wins the curl contest lol I did some push ups with yas. Catch ya back on fb. Guna finish my movie now 🤘
You've lived the dream I wish I'd had when I was a teenager: to have a band like this! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!!
Mike, you should definitely talk about anthrax on the channel and that jam was amazing.
