    Thanks for the insight! Always a big decision when buying a projector... so many ways to go. Congrats on the channel's success! Also ... awesome sim area!

    I'm lucky that we have a BIG 10 university in our backyard, and they have a surplus store open to the public. I scored a big time EPSON projector that was $3,500 new a couple of years ago for just $100.

    Do you happen to have the link to the ceiling mount you used? Thank you.

      I don’t, just an amazon search & find

    Where did you mount the projector relative to the screen and maybe your ball placement?

    I wonder how well it works with a floor enclosure for the projector? That would be my set up along with a very narrow screen almost 1:1 78”x83”?

      I would say, reach out to BenQ, they’ve got a great “sim caddie” on their customer service to help with exactly your scenario

    How far away from the screen is the projector mounted? Just curious too if you tried having the projector off to side of the center line of the screen. I wonder how much keystone adjustment there is. Thanks for any info you can provide.

    • @andrewjensengolf

      Projector is about 8-9ish feet from the screen and off from the center line… whatever keystoning I had to do was minimal and the image is 👌🏼

    How do you keep your iPad charged while playing when it is plugged into the hdmi cord? Whenever I have buddies over my iPad always dies but it’s either plug into the charger or plug into the projector.

      I haven't found a way yet... but luckily it's not really an issue for me as I don't play full rounds in my enclosure, it's more for practice than simulator golf

    AJ…what would you say is the min dollars needed to get a setup that satisfies the need for indoor golf?

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      It would depend on the launch monitor you choose... but the enclosure/screen/mat/projector combo could easily be done for $2500-3500.

      My screen looks clearer.
      BenQ 3000 lumens short through $700
      Durbles 10x10 3 layer impact screen $180
      Square golf Launch monitor $700
      10x10 batting cage connectors $60
      EMT 3/4 piping $140
      Vevor golf netting $140
      All in im at about 2k. I even bought gym mat squares from harbor freight and a 10x10 peice of used turf.

    I didn't follow the problem with the wi-fi dongle. Because the launch monitor connects to wi-fi to your phone, you can't connect via wi-fi from the phone to the projector?

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Correct, your phone can’t connect to two separate wireless/wifi connections simultaneously

    Nice setup. Does just using the garage motor light have effect on the mevo plus’ accuracy? I see online it needs ample light to track so curious on your experience with the mevo+ and just using that light. Thanks!

    • @andrewjensengolf

      I’ve not seen any difficulties with accuracy under any of my garage lighting setup

    I'm thinking of buying the same projector. It's a choice between this and the 4K TK700STi (slightly more expensive and has a normal bulb). Are you still happy with the projector and pleased with 1080p?

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very pleased with 1080p. If you intend to watch movies/sports and use the setup for more than just golf, I would recommend 4K

    • @kennyb8718
      @kennyb8718 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the reply. I would only use it for golf in the garage so this projector seems ideal, particularly with its screen fit function and keystone/corner adjustments for my limited space.
