The PHB 2024 all in one is another great one to look at. It adds many of the features and reworks introduced to dnd 5e in 2024. Ex. True Strike now allows you to make a weapon attack using your spellcasting modifier instead of STR or DEX.
Thanks bloke..👍 I've burnt myself out getting my honor achievement and haven't touched the game in months, but hearing about the upcoming subclasses comin' in patch 8 i've started another run and was heading to grymforge and act 2, but after seein' this vid i've added d20 initiative, backgrounds and applied those rule recommendations and my new run is outstanding..👍 Overjoyed to have found this vid or i'd likely never had thought of this.. I'm now lookin' forward to gettin' smashed with tactician enhanced..lol
i like your choices, the ability to make bg3 a bit more like dnd is amazing as it makes the game feel like a table top adventur. im still going thru the mods myself there are so many is mind blowing
My biggest issue with the game was the fact that you could only have 4 characters in your party, while the previous games in the series gave you 6. So I’m using the mod that lets you have more characters in your party and I’m loving it!

If you change the intitative roll from a d4 to d20 does that affect the alert perk that gives +5 to the initiative roll? That would be a massive debuff to the perk if so.
@RoxiieReadsLore karmic dice on prevents long streaks. So if you've rolled several low numbers your chances of rolling high increase. Karmic dice off is closer to pure random
I love that you chose to talk about the dice mods but chose to roll the only dice you actually paid money to have lmao (the orange one that you get from the deluxe version of the game)

Happy to help, same thing happened to me the new subclasses brought my attention back to the game and mods are the cherry on top.

They've gotta do Xanathar's dragonborn feats some time! It would save the entire RACE for viability in bg3

@@barryevans791 it is indeed a massive debuff to alert, but aligns better with how alert was intended to work in DnD.
Don't forget to turn off "karmic dice"

I wish we could turn off native mod manager, i much prefer the bg3mm and they dont play nice together
