That’s a pixel overdrive setting, the higher you make the more potential overshoot and ghosting you will have

For competitive games the refresh rate makes more sense, so probably stick with 240hz. If your playing both comp and AAA titles 2k 165hz might be a good middle ground

Late reply, but tbh with you, yes. Get a 165hz 2k monitor over a 1080p with really high refresh rate. If you're not making a career out of your competitive games, don't chase the super high refresh rate monitors. They are for the pros who is built different, that can react to a single pixel changing on the screen in a split moment. Get a higher res and bigger monitor instead. You will see the enemies better, when you aim, the enemies are bigger and easier to shoot at. You spot enemies further away comparing to 1080p. Don't try to mimic others and punch above your weight class. 165hz is your best refresh rate to play competitive at if you're not at a pro level that can react precisely to a pixel changing in under a second.

It uses Innolux M270KCJ-K7B panel, which is very similar to that used in monitors like the VG270U, FI27Q and some VG27Axyz monitors. Overall very good
