Wow He is definitely quite a legend. His father was a very famous composer too. My oldest brother would play his music in the car when he was driving me to school. I was very very young but grew with this kind of music. He was very much ahead of his time. You should try and find some live concerts, especially the one he did in Egypt with the pyramids, it is pretty exceptional!

Auch sind die EMS Synthi Effekte, aufgenommen von Ludwig Rehberg, einfach unschlagbar gut. Ich habe Rehberg vor einigen Jahren in seinem Studio besucht und ihn gefragt, ob er sich dessen bewusst ist, was er damals bei Jarre in Frankreich aufgenommen hat.

I remember when I heard this back in 78 it sounded like the future! He was doing back in the mid 70s what the likes of Orbital or Laurent Garnier were doing in the 90s. It’s like he’s a DJ doing a live mix but the source material is the circuits of the sequencers and synths through the mixing board.
There are others but the sounds and the feeling I remember after years, I cannot deny that Jarre you have made my life different in a good way. Dunno and hard to explain things but I guess, no need to. Your music lives on. You are no god, but close heh. Ah, don't mind my sayings and also the publisher. Take care, I love the music. Cheers...
I was born 1978, and Jarre is my first touch of electronic music at age of 4 or something I could remember. He is true master and inspirer to me and will always been.
