Removing staked pins from CZ Shadow 2 - the easy way

I’ve watched a few CZ gunsmithing channels now where the content creator complains about removing the staked pins and for good reason. They’re a challenge to remove if you’re hammering on anything with some give to it. By hammering on a concrete surface you’ll make things a lot easier for yourself. Use a dead blow brass mallet, something with some heft to it, not a plastic gunsmithing hammer, you’re not going to move anything with that. And use a starter punch with a tapered tip to prevent your skinny 3/16th punches from being deformed. The pointy tip of the starter punch fits in the divet of the staked pin, giving you more purchase on the pin.
