I'm not a Potter, but just wondering if you can do the same but with underglazes? I saw the short video where you'd put it thro the dishwasher... Love the concept!
Underglaze would work better for this but I have been frustrated with the lack of color vibrancy from underglazes. After firing, underglazes seem to be duller. So this has led me to testing acrylics on my pottery.
This is so cool 🤩 I didn’t realise it’s possible to do that! So the mug had bisque fire, then cone 6 glaze fire. Will the acrilyc paint will stay after handwashing the mug? Or did you fired it third time on a low temperature maybe? 🤷♀️. Anyway the colours and composition are great! 😍😍
I really tested it and put it through the dish washer and ruined it. But it was holding up to hand washing. I think it would work better if I baked it in the oven and after painting for a little bit. I need to try it again.
Loved the mug, gives me 90’s vibes❤
Thank youuu! Oh yes definitely 90's vibes :)
