Ragam Kanakangi || Sikkil GuruCharan & Team || SPIC-MACAY TIFR Mumbai

Ragam Kanakangi is the first sampurna ragam (septatonic scale) out of the 72 sampurna ragams (Melakarta Ragams) in Carnatic classical music. Its ārohaṇa - avarohaṇa structure has all shuddha swaras.
SPIC MACAY Heritage Club at TIFR organised its inaugural concert on 29th Aug, 2022, by Carnatic vocalist Shri Sikkil Gurucharan, along with Shri V. Sanjeev in Violin, Shri Rajesh Srinivasan in Mridangam, and Shri S. Krishna in Ghatam.
