Girlie I have two step kids! I know how hard it is with these kids because we get so close to them even though they are not our biological children. We grow to love them! I raised my husband’s kids with him. If my step kids ever decide to move completely with their mom but I will always be here for them. I know their mom doesn’t like me at all and I will never ever understand why she hates me so much but she does put a lot of stuff in the head but I hope the kids she how much I care and love and do everything them. i feel you. my SD has been with us since she was a baby. we have full custody. This year she turned 13 and has been mean to her sister. and just overall going through things and trying to find her place. its a push and pull with her and sometimes we are good but when things are good with her mom she is mean to me. but of course when she needs help im always the one she calls. im sure nana will be back later one. Years can not be erased forever and it probably hurts her too. Time will heal and i pray that you will be in touch w her in due time.

My mom’s husband raised me, anytime I got the option to thank him, I absolutely did. I wanted to know my real father at 16. That was hard for my mom and my POP ( I don’t call him step father) and now I’m 25, and I don’t really even speak to my biological father, she will realize that what she did was hurtful, when she’s older. Right now she’s selfish and only thinking of her. Time heals everything. Keep YOUR kids safe, your husband safe, and lastly keep your heart safe girl. You seem like you wear your heart on your sleeve. Right now I don’t think You can see the Forrest for The trees. Take care of your mind. And just know that life is going To fall into place. i feel you. my SD has been with us since she was a baby. we have full custody. This year she turned 13 and has been mean to her sister. and just overall going through things and trying to find her place. its a push and pull with her and sometimes we are good but when things are good with her mom she is mean to me. but of course when she needs help im always the one she calls. im sure nana will be back later one. Years can not be erased forever and it probably hurts her too. Time will heal and i pray that you will be in touch w her in due time.

My mom’s husband raised me, anytime I got the option to thank him, I absolutely did. I wanted to know my real father at 16. That was hard for my mom and my POP ( I don’t call him step father) and now I’m 25, and I don’t really even speak to my biological father, she will realize that what she did was hurtful, when she’s older.
