literrally in 2000 both seat and skoda competeing was like impeckable nowadays seat is competeing in touring cars especially seat's parent company Cupra (which is a independent brand of VW Group) Racing in Formula E and Extreme E, Skoda Still in WRC but in WRC-2 with Toksport WRT with the Fabia RS Rally2

I too like daandw have always wondered: WHAT WENT WRONG WITH SEAT IN WRC??? So much so that I could not sleep at night, I would wake up in a cold sweat screaming: "Why didn't they try and homologate the Ibiza?!?!?!?" But now thanks to Dimitris Qwerty I can finally sleep peacefully at night!!!
