hey, I'm working on a Hino j08e and I have oil in the coolant. Pulled the oil cooler and tested it and it's fine, pulled the head and the headgasket is fine aswell. Also tested the turbo and it isnt leaking oil into the coolant either. Do you perhaps have any ideas? I havent worked on Hino engines before.
Hi there, so im in the same situation as coolant ran into piston, this is my first time removing injector with sleeve, forgot to flush the coolant, so do you just suck the coolant out and install new sleeve and run it? I didnt use any of those tools though, will be nice to have those. Thank you.
How did you know the cups needed to be replace? I’ve got a 2007 268 with 267k miles. It runs rough. The dealer said # 6 injector balance rate is higher than the others. I’ve already dumped $1800 on resealing the cam plate and valve adjustment. How would you proceed?
These cups had a bunch of carbon buildup after removing the injectors for testing. I would remove the injectors and have them tested at your local diesel injection shop
@@boscos5287 I just found these. Wonder if I should roll the dice. www.bigmachineparts.com/products/hino-diesel-fuel-injector-bmp0950006593?variant=20243636518966
If I'm just pulling injector and replacing does anything else need to be changed?
I'm in the market for a wrecker, what's your opinion on hino 258-268s?
