All those teaching details that you add (where others don't) continue to make all the difference in the world for trouble shooting these techniques before we even try it. I know you've saved me many "do-overs"-thank you for how thorough you are!!
You know how I feel about gold accents....so lovely. The addition of the tips of gold really elevates this to something very special. Lots of people make frosting roses but your attention to detail, use of gel color and powders to add character and depth to the petals and the crowing touch of the gold tips once again brings your work to a place that few others achieve. Thank you for sharing such an in-depth tutorial on making roses.
There is many videos and ways to make roses,,,But your the one with teachings skills your the best...Thank you and happy holidays...keep up the good work....
I love how you made something that was so simple and elegant into something even more beautiful with not much effort, it shows how even simple things can be gorgeous and unique so easily💖
Julia, You are right, there are numerous tutorials on how to pipe roses! And like many others, I enjoy WATCHING all the different ways and styles, so THANK YOU for making this detailed an informative tutorial. -Tracie
LoL I was Surprised to see you using a Piping bag but since you Switch out to different tips Its Smarter!!!!!! Once again, Beautiful Absolutely Gorgeous!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!!!!!!! Have a Wonderful Week!!!!!!!! ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥

I love the use of the royal icing it doesn't contain all the fat that buttercream does plus it sets an gets hard!! Thank you so much for expanding my knowledge on decorating! I am a beginner an HATED the idea of using all the fat in buttercream. I love your videos thanks for sharing your knowledge and talents!
I praised the Lord for this video! Thank you so much for this video! I was having a problem with the base moving as I was piping the petals and your video showed me to let it dry a little. I also got a overall better rose by starting off with a smaller tip and using bigger ones with the rows. The coloring effects are a major plus as well! Thank you again!!!!
Just a tip for those new to this technique. I as taught to use the seam of the piping bag as a guide to put the color paste. Because you know where the color will come out, you can then line up the tip to the seam. I really like the look of that gold dust on the edge of the petal. Thank you for this video.
my childhood friend asks me to make a cake for her wedding but she prefers royal icing flowers than fondant so this vid really helps..I will definitely try this :) thank you ma'am
Your video was informative and detailed! Thank you for your sharing your knowledge. I especially liked the info regarding how to achieve the colour variation on the flowers 👌🏼
@@priscillanaidoo8058 Sounds like your icing is way too thin. It shouldn't be merging together into a blob. Add confectioners' sugar until the petals remain distinct. I use VERY thick pasty icing with very little in the bag (so it's easier to push it out).
miss julia, thanks to your very nice tutorial ,easy to understand and i love to see this.......thanks also for the techniques......hope i can do it by my self someday i really love baking cakes......................

Hi Julia. I love your work, thank you for sharing it. In the video you mention that you can cut the smaller roses from the base but it is not shown. How would you do this without damaging the rose? With a pair of scissors or a knife? Many thanks. Jenine
I work in air conditioned room but still I m keeping the cream in freezer n for each batch of two roses I use the cooled cream , I will try the stabiliser,, thnx for your reply byeeeeee

Thank you for sharing, Julia. When you cut off the end of a core, if it's too long, do you prefer a serrated knife so as not to crack the rose itself? Thanks!
Hi there! Thank you very much for your video! It was really helpful! I can't wait to try it out. At the part where you used gold dust for the flowers, you added some sort of "extract" to make the dust soluble but I couldn't quite catch what you said. Would you be able to be more specific on what extract you used please (other than alcohol)? Thank you so much! - Samantha
First off, thank you for the helpful tips! This tutorial is easy to follow and very level headed, so many thanks! How do you store these after it’s all done? Can you just put it on an air tight container and leave it in room temp or should you put it in the fridge?
Thank you for the video. your videos always very helpful yet takes very long. it will be nice to make them with you one-on-one :). I cannot find the sponge brush that you used... not on Amazon.com or google.com. Can you please tell me where you got it or you made it yourself? Thank you
thank you so much for your wonderfull vidéo, i have a question: how do we make a drop of dew on these roses? sorry for my english, i come from france, merci beaucoup pour votre réponse Julia
I used to pipe my roses this way to allow me to get more rounded bottoms on them; then I would cut off the base before putting on cookies or other product (where they might be more viewed from the side). Now more often, I pipe them for cookies without the center core, but the bottoms are flatter, of course.
Oh wow glad to see you replied so soon ! It's my. Son junaid who is encouraging me to watch your videos coz according to him you explain every minute thing... Can you tell me as I use whipped cream for decorations but since climate is too hot , resulting in melting of cream it ruins all my sincere efforts to give my best to the one who orders the cake .. I use non dairy whipped cream which needs only to be whipped can I add gelatin to that to give a body to it
Where did you get the poppy color luster dust please? Also, what brand gold dust did you use? There’s so many out there and they’re all different coloring! Thank you.
I love your videos!! Very easy to follow and you inspire me! Would you by any chance be showing how to make macarons too and decorsting them? Any recipes that you may recommend?
