This was a fantastic painting video. I learned a lot, and I love how you went through every step in the process. Thank you.
super enjoyable, especially like showing the matt varnish part, i never thought to start off the model when spraying and been painting for 10+ years lol
Loved this video and would love to see more like it! Great to get more of a delve into the personalised side of the hobby!
We need more videos with Matthew
Amazing video!!, Learned a few good tips. Cant wait to finish my Hive Fleet Skeltor.
i think the key to tyranids is textures more so than colour.
shiny shells, flat skin color, and something standout like a neon or fluroscent on their bubbly /eye-like bits.
Ha! I've never been able to do eyes and wouldn't you know, your camera died right when I was getting super excited to see someone that knows how to them right actually do them. Ah well, maybe next time. Great Video guys.
Wow. This is so awesome scheme. I love it!
Great painting vid! Perfect content to enjoy with some coffee
Great to watch this really helpful to see someone else's method
49:00 a stegosaurus club is called a thagomizer, it was named by cartoonist garry larson who found out they didn't have a name so in a comic strip a group of cave men name it after a friend, Thag simmons who it is implied met his end by being "thagomised" by a stegosaurus
Great video - I really enjoyed the laid back attitude of Paul. Also, having Matthew ask so many questions was really helpful to understand how the paintjob came together - loved it.
Unfortunately, the editor messed up and there's a black break in the video where the detail/face painting clip should have went.
Still, an excellent video even if it needs some touchup!
Love hobby videos like this!
Been painting my black primed tyranids without white and it’s such a pain making darker colors stand out 😮💨
These are so similar to my nids its crazy! Very nice.
Good tips and walkthrough
I am going to pin mine. . . And I am using the rollera
Or just paint markings for where the "feets" will go on the base, and mask the footprint of with something, that way you can glue the model on with plastic glue after your done with the basing. Just don't go to heavy with the paste or basing material close to the footprint Atleast thats how i do. The carnifex kits are not great, atleast the 2 kits i have bought are really bad, so i had to file the hoofs flat.
Great video!
This guys seems like a gental giant. 😅
I tried that Gorilla glue once.....and once only, absolute rubbish!
too bad he still hasnt learned how to play them effectively
