Killer guitar, Dave!! Man - I LOVE Semi-Hollows, and I have a thing with them. I love all my solid-bodies, and that is my main thing. But I have a soft spot for Semis, and especially Gretsch guitars. I have several semis, and several Gretsch's. But some of these budget semis are getting awesome. Firefly does great 338s. Hey - Welcome to the club, Buddy! I hope you have some fun with that - and maybe have a little "side-thing" as you get into the semi thing. Great for blues, blues rock, straight ahead rock, and even some jazzy type stuff. Just a little something different. Which to me.... is a good thing. After all... it's all about the music! As for changing out electronics, if you ever needed to... fishing line is a good thing to have around! Use it strategically, and you can change those tronics out. Anyway - cool vid. Great guitar, and have some fun with that thing! Rock on, Bro! Edit: Man! Bro you SMNOKED that Damm Yankees riff, which is one of my all-time fave go-to licks! I mean... that guitar sounds awesome IMO. These guitars, with the Buckers take some OD and Gain real well, up to a point. I love playing "Country Rock" type stuff with these type of guitars. But yeah - they'll do rock.
Lmao a lot of cursing is involved in changing the electronics! Did it on a Harley Benton cst 24hb ! Looks like the f'ing holes are bigger on your guitar ! After i did it I learned the guitar fishing technique. Lol Good looking guitar !

I had the firefly version...lasted about 9 mths, beautiful guitar but just didn't play that "style of music" that often to justify keeping it
