In the spring of 1991 a childhood dream came out of Curt Christman's mind and became a reality. Lewis County Monuments was started. In 2007 the name was changed to North County Memorials Inc. to better facilitate the current vision of serving Northern NY. Currently, Curt and his eldest son Christian are in a partnership operating the monument business. This small business has endured the ups and downs that all businesses encounter. Come along and enjoy the ride!-
Great video. Love the setting ones. It would be nice if you could do a video showing start to finish on a headstone , starting with design, sandblast, etching if they had any, then setting the headstone. Keep up the good work.
Thanks I have a stone coming tomorrow I plan to do a long video showing the whole thing. It will be a few weeks in the making. :)
Looks interesting.
Thanks.
Can you do one on the military headstones. Is it the responsibility of the cemetery or the family or military?
Family chooses if they want this, then usually the monument company will order it, and you would pay them to set it or mount it (if bronze) to something.
I will try and talk about this more soon.
Another great video. What color of granite would you say you sell or use the most. I see a lot of Jet Black it seems
We do a long of jet black and Gray Barre.
Was wondering if I could email you some work we’ve done up here in Ohio. Some work comes out better than others and I’m wondering if theres some alternative products we aren’t familiar with yet
