TJI 2014 Essentially Ellington Competition Performance

I was a member of Beloit memorials band at EE this year and I was blown away by this band. They play with so much soul and heart that you couldn't help but smile. Also some of the nicest kids at the festival. An honor to compete against them

Ross Ramsey How fortunate all of you were to make it to that competition! I have been enjoying these performances SOoo much. So much enthusiasm and heart in I imagine ALL of the bands. One question...Can the public come and see these performances or is it closed and private?

What really set these guys apart was how well they captured the style of Duke's music. The vibrato and everything was spot on.

That has to be the best high school vocalist I’ve ever heard
