Great video! Curious what the overall dimensions of your track layout is? I'm considering buying the HP Challenge set just to get the cars , controllers and terminal track. I started with 3 Auto World sets after playing with my old Tycopro set. The plunger controllers aren't even as good as my 1968 ones.
My set was a Super International and Track Pack. The main track is 11 x 14. Don't buy anymore AW sets! The Horsepower Shootout set is in my opinion the best track, set up and those cars that look amazing and will never be sold outside of that set! The horsepower shoot out has many 18" curves, stay away from 9" curves.
Do you have any videos of when you made your track I like some of the stuff you done to yours and would like to use them in my own design sorry don't mean to copy but I like the way you got your setup

I've been battling cancer so I don't really work anymore it gives me something to do that I really used to enjoy when I was a kid. Like many of us I grew up during the heyday. I was born in 1970 so I got to enjoy all the cool '70s and '80s stuff
I just hope that AFX sells the Mustang and the Camaro individually. I don't need more track and I am not going to pay for the set just for the cars. I am thinking of starting to test converting diecast cars to slot. Sparky, Mini GT and Tarmac Works cars in 1/64 are a real beauty.

There are good amounts of different slot cars in 1/43 scale, and obviously, in 1/32 and 1/24, but for us 1/64 is scarce if you want GT, GT3, GTP, LMP, WRC, F1. I hope either AW or AFX get more licensing rights or that Scalextric gets more serious with their Micro product line.
What I'm finding is that AFX is gaining traction finally after all the slow years! It could very well be that all the new videos are helping drive sales! In the end AFX does have great product in the can and just waiting for their releases. The new GT40 Heritages are here now and will be out Mondayish, first the Gold one then the red car. All great looking cars! And very collectable or racy!!
Just lay the 2 lane track next to each other then just keep doing that. The corners are made to fit beside each other. Try and use 9s and 12s for the corners
