I was soo close to ordering the IKEA desk and then came across your video. The Michaels drawers did go up in price. Reg price is now 109.99 but they are currently on sale for 65.99, used a 25% off coupon and got it for 52.46 after tax. Had my husband purchase the second one and boom, saved some money! Making my way to Lowe’s in a bit to have the wood cut for the table top.

How did you put the shelf on the drawers? Did you glue it on or did you just place it on top with nothing adhering it to the drawers?
I just set it on top! You could use wood glue or screws underneath😊

How have the drawers holding up after a year? I've seen some reviews that they gall apart.
I’ve had mine for almost two year now & they’ve held up great for me! I’m always pretty easy on my things & take care of them! I had a screw come loose & then I tightened it. That’s the worst of it that I’ve experienced! I think it’s all on how you take care of your things! They’re great quality in my opinion🙌

Because I live in Canada, prices are so inflated so I did not pay that much money for the vanity I paid 165Cad for the drawers and another 16Cad for the table, the mirror itself and the lights I want to buy are going to be another 100Cad for sure, however that's if if get everything from home depot, I'm sure theres other options.

Haha yay!!!🙌 you’re gong to love it!! Such a great deal & so easy to put together! Instructions were very easy & I had no problems! It took about 2 hours from start to finish to put it all together! I added the wheels for a little extra height! I have that smaller stool & it fits perfect! It may sit a little lower than a normal desk or vanity but I have plenty of room for my feet & I think it’s perfect☺️ Good luck & have fun making yours!!!💗💗💕💕💕
It came out so good! I’ve been wanting to do this and I am going to this month! Would you a standard lipgloss or liquid lipstick could stand up straight inside of them, I had made lipstick dividers so I wanna know if it would be able to stand up like most people have their liquid lips stored

Ok so the shelf at lows is showing 15.75in and the drawers are 16in so do u have a space by the board not being exactly 16 be cause I do went to Menards n ask for 16in n all they had was the 15.75 which is the same as lows when I clicked ur link

What are the measurments of the board?
With the wheels on the vanity do you find that they move? Is there a way to not put the wheels on the vanity?
I have carpet so they don’t move! I’m not sure how it would be on hard floors! They are optional so you don’t have to put them on if you don’t want! But they do add a bit of extra height!
If I put my vanity on top , do you think it will hold the weight?
I’ve never tried it so I can’t say! But give it your best judgment!

How is the melamine board? Does it feel flimsy? I'm trying to make a long bar/desk to fit across a 10ft wall and that 97" board would be perfect. I was going to get a countertop from ikea but since its 2 hours away it'd be more convenient to find an alternative at Lowe's. It'll get little use but still would like something fairly sturdy.

i want to make this but all my furniture is black and i can’t find the drawers in black anywhere! anyone who has these drawers do you think i would be able to spray paint them black and have it look fine or no?
I say GO FOR IT🙌 Just make sure to ask an employee at the hardware store for the best spray paint for the melamine board - they may have specific spray paint for that type of material! Also be sure to seal it with a top coat after the black dries! That would look so dang cool so please send me a photo on insta when you’re done with it! 🙌
