I was in that cathedral in October 2021 and I had the privilege of attending a rehearsal of the choir and orchestra of the cathedral, I can say that its sound is wonderful, as you can also see in this video... By the way, what a fantastic score by Forrest...
Our Westchester Chorale is preparing a celebratory concert, "Voices of Jubilation," December 11 including Dan Forrest's Jubilate Deo to herald our re-emergence after two years of Covid fermata.
I consider the highlight of my college experience being able to learn and preform this work both in Greenville SC, but also at Orchestra Hall in Chicago! Dan Forrest is a brilliant composer and a genuinely kind and gracious man. Thank you for the MANY wonderful memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life!
Our University's Choir performance supposed to be performing this last march, but it got suspended because of COVID-19. I really hope that we can perform this beautiful masterpiece.
Dan...You don't know me but I recently attended a Rivertree Singer concert at BJU. I mentioned that they aught to sing at the "Dom" in Salzburg....and apparently in 2018 you have with a wonderful group that you posted here. I was baptised at this church and consider myself an Austrian first. I speak German natively and if there is ever any interest I would love to be a part of a future concert of yours in Salzburg. I am local to Greenville so the connection is easily understood.
Magnífico ruido, como para oírlo una mañana de resaca, una síntesis entre Carl Orff y Aaron Copland, pero me quedo con ellos por separado, especialmente con Copland.

So inspiring to sing for God's Glory..
I enjoy this composition by Dan Forrest as his best!
Awesome! I just sang this last night with the Brevard Community Choir, Youth Choral and Brevard Symphony Orchestra in Melbourne Florida :)

What a tremendous disappointment! I, too, hope you get the chance to perform it.
Gorgeous, thrilling, inspiring choral masterpiece.

Oh wow that was so beautiful and moving ❤
great conducting, maestro! :D
Love the percussion!
a very lively rendition. bravo!
I love the drummer on the far-left of the recording.... although he could have been in the parking lot and still clearly heard....
Gracias Dan, cuántas noches eschando Jubilate Del.
Soli deo Gloria
The conductor at 48:35 hahahaha! What a fantastic work! Breathless!!!
the funnier looking the way the conductor conducts, the better the choir
yes, lol !
ENORME DAN FORREST! Grato, Deus, por estar no mesmo mundo desse gênio e poder ouvir essa obra inefável!!!
Stunning performance. Are any of Dan Forrest's works on CD?
A good performance, but one does not applause between parts of a Jubilate, just at the end.
Agreed. It really is disruptive. But great performance overall!

Excuse my impenitence for a moment...
...but Holy Shit...
7:46 48:38 when you want a quadruple-forte xD
unfortunately, I heard the Rivertree performance before I heard this one. I'll stay with the Rivertree
