Zooming out of a sphere implies more area is revealed as the tangents between your eye and the surface become closer and closer to the relative equator. This doesn't happen here, so it's not 3D, but merely zooming out of an image.
this is exactly what I had in mind. How did you blend drone and google earth so seamlessly? I dont think I will be able to fly drone very high (local restrictions and all) but this is exactly what I want, perhaps zooming out to solar system if possible :) will appreciate your reply.
