Claire, I see so much happiness in you eyes, in your smile. real happiness in who you are is your real reward. You might consider doing a video on how much more creative and productive you can now be simply because you are living completely in the female and thus in harmony with your true self. Claire, may you alway walk in love and enjoy the journey of life.
I found your TH-cam page on Reddit recently. Watching your videos make me smile so much. I am so happy to see your transition and the beautiful and wonderful person you've become. I love how happy you are and the education you shed upon us. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
Wow you are so happy on this video. This has just become one of my favourite videos along with bunny bennets transition video. I only started self medicating a few weeks ago and although I am keeping the dosage small for safety while I await the gender clinic and my gp to get on board... I am finally not feeling absolute despair all the time... Watching videos like this one and I can't wait to finally be me and take a full dosage. Thank you so much for sharing this!
I am so happy for you Claire. There is obviously no regret for your decision to transition. I know that you will have a very positive life experience for sure. I will continue to follow your musical career. Maybe I will come visit Seattle next year. Just know that your vlogs are so inspirational to me and so many others that are in the early stages of transition. It keeps us strong when our mentors are staying positive and leading the way!!
You are so amazing :( , thank you so much for creating this video to show how you feel , Tears are running down my eyes to see how happy you are , and how well you can express how you feel! Your so amazing, I'm also at 2 years and this was like seeing a reflection in the mirror, awhhh
Happy second Anniversary/Birthday Claire, Your happiness, energy, and attitude really do come through in your smile and giddy mannerisms as you talk. Best wishes, and stay safe.
I just watched your Day 1 vlog, and OMG. Here you look so radiant, and you sound so confident. It's such an amazing contrast. I think you have done very well for yourself in Seattle. Congratulations!
Congratulations! This video and your positive and overall amazing energy is very heartwarming and gives me a lot to look forward to in the future when I'm able to be who I was meant to be. The song is so beautiful! Your voice, the strings and the lyrics are absolutely fantastic! Thank you Claire for creating these fantastic videos, they're really a big hope in this tough part of my life so far.
I stumbled on to your page quite by accident and I'm pleased that I did! There is a light about you that radiates from your deepest self. Thank you for being you!
I really like several of the SUBPOP artists and bands. The Dum Dum Girls were my favorites of the 2010s time period. Congrats on your success with your transition.
3:27 is so me! I always have to think about what a guy would say or do in any situation. I can't wait to transition :) I'm glad you're doing so well, Claire
Thank you for posting. I'm trying to come out full time in the next month. Super nervous. Insanely nervous. Watching you helps me a lot. You're beautiful and amazing! Good luck with Sub Pop!
"...and I'll try to fit in, and I'll try it again'" You've just described a big part of my existence. We never quit trying, do we? Thank you so much, my sister!
Congratulation on getting to the point you are with yourself in life. It’s encouraging to hear your thoughts and being ok with who you are and not what others think about you. It’s something I’ve struggled with to this day and try to remind myself to be comfortable with who I am. Thank you for the videos and great song.
Hey girl just wanted to say thank u so much! I've been really down lately & ur video really gives me hope! U are super beautiful & ur confidence is really inspiring. Also, no lie, I would totally buy that track, that song is really beautiful! God bless
Very Nice, Congrats on your journey, you have done so good...you should be very proud. I sometimes think that real life is transition for everyone or anyone who wants to find happiness. It seems like most people reach a point in their life (if their lucky) that the study of ones self becomes the main topic and through the study of ones self a transformation just happens. I thinks it becomes a whole different world when seen thru your own eyes or maybe its just learning to see the world thru your spirits eyes. Have Fun!!! :)
I had that same problem of trying to fit in as guy. I felt like I was always trying to mimic other guys and having to think about what to say and do and if it was appropriate for the given moment and if it was going to be acceptable. Also same as you, now I don't have to think about what say and do or how to act or to mimic anyone. I'm just being myself and I fit in with other women very comfortably.
I always had the same issue with how to act like a guy before I came to terms with who I am. I was always so shy as a guy but now after starting my transition I have become more outgoing and I am no longer shy. I never felt I fit in with the guys but I forced my self to try. Back in school. From what I have been told It turns out I must have been doing good acting like I fit in. My transition will be finished for me when I get my surgery.
There wasn't a clear distinction for me going full time. I don't wear makeup and the clothes I wear are only a bit more feminine. I started on HRT almost 5 years ago and I recently had GCS/SRS or bottom surgery.

Adigun Forest One of the forms of Corruption is hate and the oppression of people. I have been transgender ally for several years now. sorry my friend, you are preaching to the choir.
Adigun Forest sounds like you are spiritual. That is good. And thank you for your concern about me. Shows you have heart. But I truly believe that Transgender people are the way they are due to biology, not a choice. In a sense God made them as they are. Those with the strongest character are given the most challenges. There is this great book that came out several years back called The Shack. If you haven't read it yet, find it. My favorite book. And I am mostly in to sci-fi and adventure. Be well Adigun.
I Love It..You have a Standing Invite to come Jam with me in Hampton Virginia Leave your guitars there I have a few you can play... Richard Loves You Visit Me LOL
This is not an attack. After watching your video I was left thinking, what if you had just accepted yourself before transitioning? Like worked on your self esteem.
If I told a someone to be more confident without asking them to change anything, they would never grow more confident. I couldn't work to be better because everytime I tried I felt like I was inauthentic. This feeling of inauthenticity holds us back in so many ways. Prior to transition, I was fairly confident and had a decent self esteem. I was president of my university's photo club, led a band, played in a band, performed regularly solo. I had decent grades, a wonderful girlfriend, a pretty good job as well. But in all these I felt like I was never my true self. I wasnt questioning my work, confidence, or my self esteem, I was questioning my gender. Is this how guys talk? Is this how men hang out? Is this what men are supposed to feel? Is this how men are supposed to walk? Is this what I'm supposed to act like? Once I got those questions out of the way, I could be better in all the things that I did. It was like a fog lifting.
Adigun, put the Old Testament away and read Jesus's words. Jesus would welcome Claire with open arms. You can't cherry pick scary rules from the Old Testament to confirm your backwoods world view. Unless you're Jewish. Christians live by the New Testament. That means love for everyone. Do you really want other people to live miserable lives because of your fear?
"if you need sunscreen to live outside you were never meant to live on this planet.". We sunscreen people have done just fine Adigun. We've made terrible mistakes, chiefly the importation of free/slave labor. Cheap/Slave labor is the curse of this nation and the curse of those brought over. We live in the same cesspool Adigun. We both have to figure out how to live together and if that means we see some oddballs in our midst we should embrace them with open arms. They are not a threat.
I have a question hun. Do you have to take those hormones for a long period of time or you have to take them forever? I have a thiroyd disrder, so I have to take a thyroid hormone my body doesnt produce, and I'll never be able to not take it, 99,999999999999999% sure I wont be able to stop. It's not a big issue after 20 years of thaking them, haha
Everyone produce estrogen dont they. Men do it in small amounts but they do it. Anyway. great video. I just wanted to say you look gorgeous. And a question, do you think its dangerous to take estrogen just to try and see how it goes. I know it sounds stupid, but I just wanna know are there any physical changes that are irreversible other than sterility?
Correct, everyone produces estrogen - Her body will just never produce estrogen in a female range, so she will need to take hormones for the rest of her life to make sure that it does. I'm not a trans woman so don't quote me on this, but no, I wouldn't say it would be dangerous. One irreversible change could potentially be breast growth. If you're unsure, I would talk to a therapist as well as an endocrinologist. It is possible that you could start on testosterone blockers, take those for a while, and then slowly introduce estrogen and see how that goes for you.
There's not a lot of research in this area yet. But I was told there's an increased risk of breast cancer. I think it's because there's s significantly increased chance of breasts.
It's great to see you so happy! Confidence looks good on you 🌸
Claire, I see so much happiness in you eyes, in your smile. real happiness in who you are is your real reward.
You might consider doing a video on how much more creative and productive you can now be simply because you are living completely in the female and thus in harmony with your true self.
