One of the ways communal politics benefits businesses is by lowering the cost of labor. This has happened a few times in Indian history. As an example, in the 70s and 80s in Bihar, textile mill owners were mostly Hindus, while the laborers were predominantly Muslim. One of the ways the mill owners destroyed labor unions is by funding right-wing Hindu groups to attack the laborers and their homes. Destroying the union and the homes of the laborers made them fearful and desperate, as their life savings had been destroyed in communal violence. This forced the laborers to end their collective bargaining and benefited the mill owners.
This dynamic is playing out in other cases as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the demolition drives directed against Muslims right now is part of a broader land grabbing scheme to benefit builders or specific politicians, who can use the land for other economic purposes.

But still is that cheap labour right? And labour unions etc? Are we even for real, they harm business more than anything minimum wage which has been enforced in many parts of the country , a just leave policy , safety are enough why are labour unions needed beyond that horribly artificial concept , business is a part of society and occupies resources but not the way you think it does # all unions are cancer non tech intensive business/es , business owners are not supposed to be on the whims and fancies of others

@@lakshyavarshney9942 nonsense, you most be some kind of naive teenager. Businesses don't have any incentive to pay workers beyond the minimum and can engage in mistreatment. Who is enforcing rules on businesses? Do you think there is any mechanism for that, especially in India? I work in a unionized university right now in the US and I am seeing an increase on my salary as a direct result of collective bargaining. Any democratic society would give working people the ability to organize the workplace, it is anti-union propaganda that is the real cancer which is fooling people and furthering their exploitation.

@@lakshyavarshney9942 and what dream world are you in? Minimum wage is not enforced in most of India, and bulk of the population doesn't even work in organized sector. Private sector is constantly lobbying to prevent organization of the unorganized workforce so as to keep labor cost low, but that also keeps laborers in poverty. Labor costs are artificiallly depressed in India due to socioeconomic exploitation.

Ha i know my parents are communalism followers too, and their reaction to everyone of my points is always ' improve yourself, you are still a child ' by the way I am 21 and it's opposite to my political beliefs. They say you will change after you will grow up into a man and do a job and see the truth, i think right wing is very very delusional sometimes. In my childhood my father used to say that we are still in a war with Muslims. I was like what war? I don't see any war anywhere and as I grew up i was shocked that the war is created by powerful politicians and people who are in power. This made me very sad and by the way I am also Swarna person and I was ashamed of my caste as well as people in my caste that were doing pathetic things to the minorities as well as some other Sts and Sts. So sad to see people are still in this communalism and are following it in blindness. People are meant to evolve not to stay the same at all. I think it's their upbringing and ego that never let them change or it's just in the nature of modern humans that we think our affiliation is the best. I hope so you get many subscribers as possible. I love your content and your personality. Thank you for your great content. You and pranav are great youtuber. I am big fan of you ❤.

Yeah many older people are actually indoctrinated and have no life experiences outside their little bubble, and they use age as an excuse to silence younger people who are more fair-minded and progressive. Continue reading and growing as a person and ignore your parents. You will meet many good people along the way who will give you better advice.
