I have a large collection of Nitecore Flashlights, which i also use for photographic explorations at night. I like this one because it has the front power button, very convenient for uses other than the tactical flashlight.
I have both the ThruNite TC20 Pro and the TC20 V2. I am a huge ThruNite fan boy. Taking into consideration everything, quality, fit & finish, value etc. I think ThruNite is the best flashlight company out there right now.
@@urbexitaliaassociated7203 Nitecore makes some very fine, solid and quality lights. And you certainly pay for it. I am not knocking Nitecore I have 9 or 10 of them. I like the E4K so much I bought the upgraded version a couple of months, you know with the upgraded UI.
I think Thrunite gives you the best bang for the money. It’s a great company.Fenix although a little pricey happens to be a great flashlight company itself.
I have stopped buying Convoys, not because they’re bad lights-quite the contrary-but because I have so many high end lights I just don’t buy the “inexpensive stuff” anymore. Every light I review is either sent to me gratis, or I bought it myself. I don’t see either happening for Convoy lights. I hope this doesn’t make me sound too lame. I just know what I like!
@@cheule i get it, no worries. Just wish some of the big reviewers would review the S16, because in my opinion it's the best Convoy and one of the best pocket throwers out there
@@maggi98mwI have some of convoy’s 4×18A and 3×21 D/ L8. They all have the 90.2 in them I think they’re grade throwers. The box that you get from them makes Thunite boxes look fancy lol. But I think they’re excellent lights without a charging cord without batteries but that’s fine for me. I have the catapult pro/TC 20 pro/V6. Along with.Manker MK, 38/MC 13ll special edition. I tried to dab in all those lights along with Olight. I love my AceBeam X 75/L 19 2.0, . I did just pick up the Wurkkos TS 30 S pro which doesn’t have great runtimes, but it’s a fun light to play with. Don’t cut yourself short check out convoy I think they’re excellent and a lot of fun to play with. Have a great holiday .
I didn’t mention it because ThruNite didn’t disclose us in any of their literature. They literally just call it the XHP70 HI. My assumption is it could be a 70.3.
I'm such a sucker for hand-filling lights... I just wish I didn't get distracted so frequently by other stuff - there have been a couple versions of this light since it first caught my eye.
Let me ask you something my friend. Many years ago I bought a Mhvast TS70 and later found out that it was a copy of the Thrunite Tc20. They are identical. Even the fade effect they have when changing mode. Do you have any information regarding Mhvast? Are they like a second line or something? Recently I swapped a 70.3 HI and indeed it became much better! Got rid of that ugly yellow corona of the 70.2.
Yes the HI line practically eliminated tint shift. I don’t know if Mhivast is an OEM company for ThruNite, but it’s possible! I found out recently that Wuben OEMs lights for four sevens and some other big name brands.
I live in an urban environment, so I actually prefer it this way. Every time I see a demo in the woods it doesn’t mean much for me. Sorry if my urban environment is a poor fit for you!
But it has crazy far distance. My driveway to my property is over 1000" and my thrunite catapult pro lights thebend of the road like daylight. My neighbors house is 1/4 mile away and it lights their house up like its daylight.
It is awesome how many great flashlights exist these days and so many companies are fighting for our $$$. Lots of options and price points.
👍🏼🔥

What's the difference between pro and V2?

Hey Cheule, do you like Convoys? Could you make a comparison between the S16 SFT40 and XHP 50.3 HI R9050?

Would have been nicer to do the demonstration of the lights away from street lighting.

Can someone tell me how to charge It Please..
I have a section in the video called “charging”
Damn the catapult v6 is bigger but only 2800 lumens max
