I remember Shenandoah. The song was in 93. I remember hearing the song in 93. I remember in the fall 95 I was upstairs in my room at Mom and Dad's house and I saw the video on CMT and I sang along 2 the song and when they sang "Destiny" I sang "White Rain".
As someone who started listening to country in 1992 at 12 years I can say not all of the new country is terrible. Yes it's different but that is what music does, evolve. I still love old and new but I can see country going to far someday in 10 to 20 years.
I remember when me and my mom danced to this song when it was playing on CMT when I was a baby in 1993. It was recorded on one of those recordable VHSs which had footage of me when I was a baby
I remember first seeing this video while visiting friends in Georgia. I could relate to that line about wanting to go back because my heart was breaking when I left them. And is the girl Jeri Ryan?I always thought she looked familiar in that Star Trek series.
I've been trying to remember who sang this for over 25 years I was thinking it was Lyle Lovett or someone cuz I was thinking that who sung it had died.
I miss this era of music, it was the best!!Way better than these days what they call music Which is just talking with some type of techno crap in the background like Billie Eilish. Ugh. Crap 🤢 😢 💩
Underrated 90s country banger! Loved this song growing up!
Nothing like some 90s country with that electric guitar twang. Best decade in country
Takes me back everytime.....The Best times, wish I couldve stayed there forever❤
I miss this country. It was catchy and didn't take its self seriously
I totally agree
Best time for country music. Mid 90’s!!!! Gold
That was the good ole days of country
Man I remember this one. Early '90s Texas was a helluva great time to be alive, especially around Austin.
2023 still jamming Shenandoah

Be great if country could sound like this again. Good things come around so.....

guy on keyboard, handsome. :)
I remember those striped shorts. I think just about all girls had them. 😁
I don't remember the shorts but then after July 1993,I was spoken for so I didn't notice how other women were dressed.
I remember first seeing this video while visiting friends in Georgia.
I could relate to that line about wanting to go back because my heart was breaking when I left them.
And is the girl Jeri Ryan?I always thought she looked familiar in that Star Trek series.
Being a love slave to her would be awesome.
I'm also told that Marty Raybon had some concerns about just what this song was about when they pitched the title to them.
I've been trying to remember who sang this for over 25 years I was thinking it was Lyle Lovett or someone cuz I was thinking that who sung it had died.
Always liked shenandoah.country........upbeat, and fun.
Does anyone know why this album isn't on Spotify of yt music. I have it on CD and it's my favorite album but I can't find it on my music apps
Who's the girl?
I've often wondered if it wasn't Jeri Ryan.
There's worse things to be! :)
