Yeah, the audio level balance didn't save after I edited it in audition and I didn't catch it. I'm self-taught on all of this so I've learned as I've gone along. You shouldn't hear that issue in newer episodes.

I’m a proud alumni of the 82nd Airborne. I was a grunt. We ran into the Delta guys and had some limited exposure with them every now and then. They were stationed at Fort Bragg with us. All of us infantry paratroopers knew without any doubts who was at the top of the food chain in the Operator groups. It was hands down Delta. Seals are incredible, way above anything I had done being a paratrooper and a Ranger Indoctrination Program grunt. SEALS are above almost all top elite forces. However, it was common knowledge at the Division, (82nd) that many many SEALS didn’t make it through Delta selection, nor did Rangers, Marine RECON. Green Berets, etc. Delta operators are pretty much God level warriors. There are no equals, although movies and press will have you thinking the SEALS are top of the mountain, they are not. They’re not far from the peak but not on top. This is not an opinion, it’s a fact.

I did 15 months in Baghdad in a Stryker regmt…the seals do the same thing Army Infantry does…just without the bullshyt…raids for hvt’s, psd missions…seals skip all the presence patrols and waiting around for eod…we do the same cool guy stuff, but they leave after it’s done, where Infantry has to wait around and fill sandbags…(90 day deployments too by the way)

Couple of guys would pop out of the wood line shirtless on a horse or dirt bike then they were gone. Its like sighting big foot, you know you seen something but not sure what.

It’s interesting to hear how many of the guys who made it to the Unit had actually decided to quit at some point in selection. The only reason they didn’t was that there was no one present to request to withdraw so they HAD to keep going.

I had read in a book I believe called inside Delta Force.. that some green berets didn't like not being able to prior plan before any obstacles... whereas in their unit , speicial force's they always planned.. I found that surprising, that some guys hated to be surprised with no prior planning and would quit! Going back to their unit.

    • @jasonhull2163
      @jasonhull2163 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@joshuacarter4484 One reason Green Berets a lot of times chose to teach and educate once they are out of the Army is because Green Berets are without a doubt a lethal fighting force but one of their biggest roles are establishing team work and military tactics and training to other countries that we are in war with. They do it with the intent to make the countries military capable of fighting against terrorism when USA is not present. You never hear a lot about Green Berets or Deltaforce because they truly honor the quiet professional. I never once heard Mr Tobin talk any trash about SEALs or any other elite units. Mr Tobin said something along the lines of we are all in it together and all branches are in this together. One thing that has always stuck with me that Mr Tobin said. There was a kid in my class who told Mr Tobin that his dad was a cook in the Army. Mr Tobin my Green Beret teacher said that's OK because without the cooks we wouldn't have strength to do our missions. Seriously the most humble and non biased man I ever met. You definitely will see and have some competition and trash talk amongst other units but the Army Special Operations units seem to do their jobs and go back to the shadows. All jokes aside the trash talk is just military humor. There was an incident where a Navy SEAL got pinned down and was alone. The 75th Ranger Regiment went in and saved him. The joke behind it was Marcus Luttrell Said I knew my boys were coming to get me. He then said yeah, you guys had to save a SEAL. Luttrell thanked them and said the Rangers did fantastic. All branches and units have respect for each other and are brothers when bullets are flying at you. I can't imagine having 50 Rangers set down coming for you. Serious fire power.

Delta is all about singular survival..... If you can survive on your own during training, imagine what you can accomplish when you finally do get to operate with other BAD MFers just like you. Seal team 6 is awesome....but there is a reason why we don't hear about Delta, its because they conduct operations that we can NEVER show the public. Delta all the way!!!

the reason ive been cagey is because either i might be schizophrenic, there's either some kind of crazy conspiracy that im surrounded by multiple factions, or there's someone just fucking with me for shits and giggles. idk i may just be losing my mind. i thought what happend to JB son was a plan that originated from how i almost gave in and almost fell for it. and i would imagine if there were ever a time the president just had to give a nod in order to take anyone civilian out, then it would be for something like that. and i wouldnt blame him if he did. I've come up with so many ways you could use conspiracy ideas to do crazy shit. its kind of like when they develop a stealth aircraft design, it become nothing but a tit for tack between rader developing accuracy vs the actual craft itself... if that makes sense. i could spend hours and hours going over crazy ideas that. Once you connect, everything starts rolling in all at once. for example, planes trains automobiles you see john candy walk outing out of a secrete hiddin door in the bathroom like a soviet spy double swap, then he turns the light off laughing his ass off and gets shocked and cuts out to black

What’s more telling about the Grenada Op is/was the mindset (screw ups) of that ASO who insisted that an NCO of a major unit, MUST vacate an air field, and without any support or means of transportation. DC very easily could have ended up captured or dead, if he wasn’t as resourceful as he is.. A bunch of SEALs actually drown during Grenada because they were dropped out of helicopters, from too high (+30ft) and into “rough” seas..

@@stndupforusa8964 DevGru ONLY takes Seals because they only have maritime combat naval warfare deployment experience. Delta would be rejected just on paper, that's why Delta can't be DEVGRU or can't even apply. To be consider Devgru you need to be a top Senior Seal in the teams with enough maritime combat deployment. Delta knows $hit about ships or oceans. Delta has never attack a ship or even qualified to ride in a nuclear submarine let alone do operations from submarines.

@@deathfire096SEALS can only be DEVGRU because they are both entirely naval organizations. Just like only soldiers/rangers can go to RRC because they are both entirely army organizations. CAG headhunts the best dudes in every branch and essentially fantasy drafts a dream team of the hardest, smartest and deadliest dudes the military can produce. Plenty of SEALS readily admit this. They never get all pissy about the comparison, it's always POGs and civilians that white knight for them.

From what I hear from seals that were there that he’s the 3rd person to shoot bin laden so him being the guy that “killed bin laden” is ridiculous.. especially when there’s another guy claiming it. Funny thing is the guys that are really silent professionals told a different story than him. Like you’re a badass already why do you need to lie? Oh yeah for money I forgot.

When you interrupt your guest (mostly probably because of internet delay) you should say something like, "not to cut you off", or "I don't mean to interrupt". It makes you seem like a little less of a dick. Especially when you are talking to one of the most legendary warfighters of our lifetime.

But this guy talks shit about SEALs all the time. He never has anything good to say about them. This “professional” should be ashamed for spreading falsehoods about Operation Gallant Eagle 82. Those fatalities didn’t happen because a chaplain stood behind a van taking wind readings as the DZSO.
Five DZs were jumped. Although there were significant injuries, most of the fatalities were at Silver DZ.
After this MASCAL, the policy changed to include wind readings from the trail and lead edges of the DZ (since updated again). The winds at the trail edge (on a long DZ) were different than those at the lead edge.
Five DZs equals five DZSOs. The CG, also the ABN CMDR made the call to jump and took responsibility. AF also surveyed all DZs after this before they were cleared to jump on. Many casualties were caused by Troopers being drug and sustaining head or bodily injuries on large rocks/boulders at ground level.
Blaming a chaplain with no proof is disgusting. Too often these “operators” try to call out chaplains becomes they think they can get away with it.
Yes, I’m a CH. Yes, I’m also JM qualified. After he spouted that nonsense, I typed this long post and left the channel. I won’t watch or support this. I’m sure if he blamed a JSOC “operator” for something he wasn’t responsible for, he’d be accused of blasphemy.
