- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia is aware of the dangers coming from the “Kyiv regime,” including the threat to assassinate President Vladimir Putin. “All the threats coming from the Kyiv regime are obvious. Therefore, the security of the president is established at the proper level,” said Peskov. The assassination threats against Putin were also voiced by the head of Kyiv’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Kirill Budanov in a recent interview. Budanov, listed as a terrorist by Moscow, revealed Kyiv’s efforts to kill Putin in an interview with Ukrainian news outlet NV.

@@BrendanPowel France was an aggressive colonial power and took many lands by force. Many peoples have freed themselves from the yoke of colonialism, others are in the process. The French pulled out of Niger last year and this year they have been forced out of Burkina Faso. Russia intervened in the Ukrainian civil war to prevent the Ukrainians from taking the Donbas Peoples Republic and the Luhansk Peoples Republic. At the beginning of the Special Military Operation there was no intention to occupy Ukraine.

"International Law" means the rules set by the West. The West conforms to them for the most part but, when necessary, can change them. But at least the West keeps things more synchronized than local warlords.
