You did an insanely great review on these G 425 hybrids. I actually added a complete set of these to my bag. I love playing the hybrids. The # 2 is a powerful beast. I really enjoyed your review. Never have I heard a more detailed finer analysis than this. Thanks. Joe
I've really enjoyed your Channel and respect/trust what you have to say. I've subscribed and look forward to further shows? It's cold here in the Great White North and suffering from GWS (golf withdrawl syndrome). Keep up the great work and good luck!!!
Hi, sorry to resurrect an old video but have you managed yet to try the new Ping G430 hybrid range? I have the G425 4, 6, and even 7 hybrids and love them, but realise I now also need a 5H! I'll obviously demo the G430 5H when I can, but would be interested to hear your views plse, if you've tried them yet of course lol!? Many thanks Andrew
The G430 are a little higher launching. You may still be able to get the G425 5H as I believe Ping still have some stock but would need to check in with them to be certain.
Really good video and thanks for posting, would it be a viable option to replace a wood with a stronger lofted hybrid? I have a hybrid and then 5 wood but tend to use the hybrid more purely because I can hit it better. Wondering if a good option would be to drop the 5 for a stronger hybrid
Nice vid, I've tried a G425 Hybrid once before, recalling it was straight but didn't really suit my angle of attack. Does Ping still use UST Mamiya shaft manufacturer for their stock offerings? I see you have a ventus blue s there? How about a Hybrid for a non-picker or steeper AOA?
Both Aldila and UST have historically made shafts for Ping but currently we believe it to be UST. The Ventus Blue was just something suitable for me to test the head with so would be an aftermarket custom upgrade. The heads that have been working well for a steeper angle of attack are: Titleist TSi3 (TSi2 ok too) Taylor Made Stealth Plus (Stealth DHY and UDI also good but more Driving iron style) Callaway Rogue Pro (very low spin though) Cobra LTD x Essentially the slightly smaller, more compact head shapes tend to work better.

Really appreciate it Joe. Thank you
@@Precision_Golf Your welcome
Me and my dad both game the 3 hybrid , it’s a beast , amazing off the ground and impossible to miss off the tee

Yes. Absolutely that could be an option to look at. Ultimately it’ll be determined by your swing dynamics.
